I had a handle that was broken on my shower fixture - it kept falling off the fixture. Within minutes of CA Plumbing arriving the plumber was talking about moisture in my walls. He never pulled the fixture off and never offered a fix for the handle. He said that the fixture was too difficult to remove and that he was afraid of breaking it, so he just didn't take it off at all. Instead, he took pictures and said that he would find out what brand fixture it was (there was no name brand printed/stamped on it) so that he could figure out what type of replacement to install. He kept pushing me towards the moisture issue though saying that he would have a moisture expert come out and take better readings and if he agreed that I would be much better off tearing the entire shower wall out and replacing the valve, fixture, and everything! Since it was custom stone tile work, I would have to replace all of that too, and my homeowner's insurance would "most likely" pay for it all. My head was spinning since all I wanted was my fixture handle fixed. Since the estimates were free, I allowed him to send out the moisture expert and waited to hear back from him to see if he could find out what fixture type to replace, and send me an estimate for it. I also asked him to give me a price to change out the fixture in my other shower - nothing was wrong with it, just wanted to update it if it was affordable. The moisture expert came out and first said that all I needed to do was re-grout my shower/tub surrounding and that the moisture levels were fine. Then he changed his tune and said that it would be best to call my insurance company to find out my deductible amount and go through them to replace the entire shower and tile. He said he works with them all the time and knows what to say to get it covered. After he left I literally cried thinking about all the work they told me was needed/best to do. 7 days later (granted one of those days was Christmas day) - I hadn't heard back from CA Plumbing and called them to find out where my estimate was and what they found out about what type of fixture to get. I called them and was shocked to learn that my service call was "closed" and the office manager didn't have any estimate for me. Instead, she said she had to contact the plumber to get one sent to me. I received the estimate later that day and was shocked to see it said $1,350 to replace my fixture. It still indicated that they had no idea what fixture to replace it with, so the cost could be even higher once they did figure it out. I never even got the estimate for the other shower fixture. Frustrated, I called another plumber and was given an appointment the next morning. That plumber came out, took about 5 minutes looking it over, and told me all I needed was a washer to secure the handle back to the fixture. He had one in his tool chest, put it in, and it was fixed. DONE! I told him this story about CA plumbing and he said that was ridiculous. He took moisture readings and said there was nothing to worry about. My stone and marble tiles naturally had moisture in them and all I needed was new grout to ensure nothing gets in between the old worn-out grout lines. Needless to say, CA Plumbing was clearly up-charging me for something I didn't need, and either couldn't figure out or chose not to figure out that all I needed was a washer. The 2nd plumber that I had out was much more honest and honorable - after hearing my story he didn't even charge me for coming out. He was also kind enough to give me an estimate to replace the other shower fixture, should I want to update it. CA Plumbing told me they didn't have info on the other shower and asked me to provide it so that they could give me a 2nd estimate. No thank you. I'm done with anyone who can't fix a simple handle and whose plumbers don't take notes back to get estimates done.

They were timely, polite, reasonable and did a nice job.

The company replaced a non-galvanized pipe that was installed incorrectly by another company. They pressure tested it and it passed the city inspection. Aaron was on time and cleaned up area nicely. The company will text you with the date and appointment time.

I came home from the studio, pulled my car in backwards and noticed a bunch of water falling off of my garage door. First Thought: Woah Did it Rain? Second Thought: Uh Oh. I called a plumber that's been to my house before, after I called and texted my brother a million times, and with the help of an iPhone, pictures, video and my brother, we got the water to stop flooding my garage. Unfortunately my previous plumber was booked up for 6 days - so I asked for a referral and he gave me Aaron's name, number and told me he was a really good guy. So I called Aaron. Not only was he incredibly nice, but he coordinated with me and came out within just 3 hours of our conversation. He installed the entire unit by himself, handled the gas and the water, hauled out my old water heater, cleaned up all of his tools and equipment and also looked at my bathroom sink. My hair likes to shed. Just overall a freaking incredible experience. If you need help, want a very professional and friendly plumber who communicates thoroughly - give Aaron a call. Excellent! Aaron was responsive from the get go and extremely easy to work with. He simplified what is otherwise complicated info for a non-plumber like me. He went over options and was very accommodating with scheduling since I'm a single dad (kids started school three weeks ago!) and work full time. For a guy as busy as him, it speaks volumes that he was so understanding and willing to work around my schedule. The job took three days as he projected. And he managed to work around some challenges due to the unique access points in my house. My prior experience with most contractors has led me to expect a "surprise charge" at every turn. But Aaron didn't do that AND he threw in some additional work at no added expense. Instead of 50+ year old plumbing and future headaches with my utility companies, I've got peace of mind and feel good about this investment. My mother-in-law was at my house while they worked and she remarked on their serious hard work and great manners. Called around to a few plumbers, and Aaron was the most responsive. He sent a guy out the next day and was great about being flexible on timing, as we had to coordinate scheduling with a tenant.

incredible up and running in 2 days. dug all the way out to the street and replaced all the cast iron with new plastic pipe. It was done really quick, and very clean, filled it all in, works like it never has before. use to clog almost every month or sooner, now Wow no problem. the owner was on top of every thing, what a great guy Aaron is.
