Von Starky Plumbing

Von came over even without too much notice.  This was appreciated.  He did a very nice job connecting everything as I asked him to do.  He had to come over on two different days at my request to accommodate the carpenter making cabinet modifications.  All good.
I would definitely hire him again and expect to to install new water heater.

on sunday morning we came downstairs to see a flood in the bathroom laundry room and the water flowing out of the toilet probably from the washing machine rinse water. I called him from angie's list because he was the closest that had positive reports. He answered the phone and knew pretty quickly what it was. At first he did not want to come out till Monday morning but I did not want to look any further I had him on the phone so I offered him double his$90 an hour. He came out, snaked the mainline in an hour and we were good to go.

Mr. Von Starky came over when I was out of the house, my girlfriend was the one who answered the door. He helped her with identifying the problems with the washing machine drain and snaked both the pipes versus another plumber who just only did the pipe once and charged us $110.00 for less work and even less of an explanation for what was being done. Mr. Von Starky even checked our water pressure for us, identifying and showing my girlfriend where the water shut-off valve was and making sure it was turn on all the way, which was included in his total estimate. In further explanation, he informed us that our pipes were all copper and rusting might have contributed to the poor drainage and subsequent leaking which we relayed to the landlord. In conclusion, we will always go to this man for plumbing for now on!

Von has high attention to detail.  He will talk you through the work process.  He did a very good job with our house.

We had a slab leak and had another company come out for leak detection. We were not happy with them, the mess they had made and the quote to re-pipe.. We started calling friends to find a new plumber. Von Starky was recommended to us from our electrician friend who had worked with him in the past. Von was on time, in fact early! His estimate and charge was less than half the previous plumbers gave. He also took time to assess how to run the pipe through the ceiling with out having to make excessive holes in the drywall and ceiling. Very thing came out very neat and clean- you could tell he was experienced at this. We have rental properties and have since used him to replace a toilet, pressure regulator, and faucet at different properties.

The water heater at our rental property broke over a week end. We had worked with Von in the past and have been pleased with his knowledge, dependability, and pricing. He went to the property, assessed the water heater. He recommended a specific make but it was Late Saturday night and specialty plumbing store were closed, the tenants couldn't wait until Monday for hotbwater so he picked one up from The Home Depot and installed it. He sent us the bill, quick and convenient.

I was very pleased with Von. He purchased the toilet at The Home Depot, removed the old toilet, and did an outstanding job of performing the replacement. He was clean, personable, dressed professionally and arrived on time. I am looking forward to working with Von in the near future for other plumbing needs.
