From start to finish these guys were super! Customer service was excellent, and they always called me back when I had questions on the processes etc. When the gentleman showed up as scheduled to do the job, he wasted no time in getting started. I was amazed at how neat and orderly he was, not to mention his very pleasant disposition. Bottom line is I would recommend this company to anyone that wants the job done right and at very reasonable prices.

It went well but it is a big mess to remove wallpaper!! If I had not been painting all the walls and trim and molding, it would have looked awful. The windows had glue and paste all over them. I don't know if it might have been done without the mess.

"Removing wallpaper is a messy proposition. We try to contain the mess with plastic and masking tape. We haul all wallpaper debris from every job site."

Terrible. The contractor's disclosure statement made us aware that there may be some damage since some wall paper is difficult to remove. However, they rushed the job and left numerous gouges and removed the wallboard paper in many cases. It was so bad, we had to have several sections of the wall re-plastered. Katz's unprofessional response was "if you did not want us, why did you not do it yourself" In fact, we did remove the wall paper from one room that had a paper backing (hard to remove) and did a much better job than this company and had no gouges or torn wall board paper.

"Case of selective memory!!!! The part of this discussion that was left out was that the customer was informed " these walls are not going to turn out well" but we were instructed to move forward and schedule this project. When the walls are not primed WALL DAMAGE DOES OCCUR."

Called to get an estimate, had to call back with measurements. Had to call twice to get estimate. Once the estimate was received and sent back to the company, no one called to schedule a work date, so I had to call again. The date was set. However, the worker showed up on the wrong day. After conferring with the other workers who were at the house scheduled to work, it was decided that they would work around the wallpaper guy. The job was finished in about 3 1/2 hours. The walls look good. However, the clean-up could have been better.

THIS COMPANY DID TAKE A WHILE TO GET BACK TO ME BUT EVERYONE TOLD ME THIS WOULD HAPPEN. THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. THEY WERE DONE QUICKLY. THE WORKER WAS PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH BEING EXPENSIVE.

UNFORTUNATELY, I WAS NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED. I HAD TO HAVE HIM COME BACK TO SCRAPE OFF QUITE A BIT OF GLUE RESIDUE AS HE SAID WOULD BE DONE. IN SOME AREAS OF THE BATHROOM THE ORIGINAL PAINT CAME OFF AND HE DID NOT SCRAPE OR SAND IT SMOOTH. IN THE BEDROOM, THE WALLS WERE LEFT WITH A BUMPY TEXTURE FROM THE GLUE WHICH I HAD TO SAND OFF. HE DID COME BACK WHEN I REQUESTED AND DID TRY TO IMPROVE THE ORIGINAL JOB DONE.

"Let me correct the customer here. Wallpaper paste does not have a "bumpy texture". Drywall texture has a bumpy feel to it. We went back to he job site and tried to make this customer happy. When your dealing with bad drywall the results are not pretty."
