Mitch and the crew at Solena Landscape are the best. They can do EVERYTHING. Pools, hot tubs, fountains, hardscape, lighting, landscaping, etc. They are creative and professional. Though ours wasn’t the biggest project, we got first class service. Some of their bigger projects are jaw dropping. Highly recommended.

The project went well and exceeded my expectations.

Mitch and his crew at Solena Landscape have just completed an amazing transformation of my backyard. I selected Mitch after having observed him for several years doing projects in my neighborhood. I was always impressed by his designs and the speed with which projects were completed as well as how the work held up over time. He and his crew went above and beyond my expectations completing a pool remodel as well as all new hardscape and softscape. They remained on schedule, maintained excellent communication, and were respectful of my budget. Mitch's attention to detail and vision has turned a very dated backyard into a paradise that I will enjoy for many years to come!

We recently moved  into a new home which had a pool but no spa. Our project initially started as only wanting to add a spa to the existing pool. Mitch with Solena Landscape came highly recommended to us so we made our first appointment with him.  Mitch said when he looked at the address he thought it looked familiar to him.  When he arrived at the house he realized that 18 years ago he remodeled the existing pool and backyard(such a small world!).  We felt very comfortable with Mitch and his capabilities.Our conversation changed from only adding a spa to the idea of what a complete new design with new pool, spa and hardscape would look like.  My husband said to Mitch "give me a "WOW" factor design and we will go from there." In our front yard we were in the process of changing our landscape to drought tolerant plants and decided we wanted to also change the hardscape.  Mitch said his schedule was really tight but knowing that we had a deadline to meet with the city he said he would make it work for us.


When we meet with Mitch to go over the initial design we were very pleased.  He had designed a plan that really did create the "WOW" factor my husband was looking for.  But that was not good enough for Mitch.  One of the things we really liked about Mitch was midstream, once the front yard project was under way, he came to us and said "I have a better idea for the front yard design" and he was right.  He is always thinking of ways to better his projects instead of just taking the easy road.  We love his vision and creativity.


The backyard is absolutely amazing!  We had several changes along the way and in the end they were worth it all.  We truly feel like we are living in a resort. We just can't say enough about our experience with Solena.  Hugo, the foreman on the project, is the best.  He was always on the job,very dedicated and has great follow up.  All of the crewmembers are very qualified and conscientious and the quality of their work is superb. 


John, the pool contractor, and Mitch have been working together for years. They worked side by side and nothing ever fell through the cracks.  Mitch and John are both very meticulous and want everything to be perfect for the homeowner. If you ever want a pool and spa only use Solena. Their follow up is excellent!

When we began the undertaking of a new landscape concept for our backyard, it was clear that a well thought out design was critical to its success. One of my primary concerns was that our yard was relatively large and not conventionally shaped. We knew the designer would be challenged in creating the proper flow that would tie in the yard?s shape with the features we were
looking for. We also knew that this project represented a major investment and we needed to feel comfortable with the designer.

That?s why we chose to work with Solena Landscape. From our first contact with Mitch, we felt very comfortable with him, not just because of his wealth of knowledge, but also because he was very sensitive to our input. Mitch was very thorough in his explanation of the design process, beginning with a dialogue about our ideas and concepts. He then spend time doing an inventory of measurements, sun/shade impacts, privacy concerns, theme concepts relative to our home, and basically trying to feel out what we wanted balanced against the palette our yard provided.

Mitch then drew up a basic design and we met again to further process and refine. Again I can?t emphasize his patience with our needs and his gentleness with his recommendations based on our input. We met several more times before completing the design. Every step of the process served to build on the previous meeting. It was a pleasure to have his expertise and guidance as me moved though the design phase.

The end product was a design that incorporated our dreams better than we ever envisioned.  We could not have selected a more professional designer. We are very grateful to Solena Landscape in their efforts to make our dream outdoor living space a reality.

The work was completed as envisioned:  Within the time estimated; In a clean and
orderly fashion; And we experienced no problems that weren’t immediately
rectified after the job completion.

What we particularly liked about Mitch, is that he
encouraged our input… even bad input. We had ideas, but they didn’t always fit
the overall project concept. He explained the whys AND why-nots of both our and
his ideas.

Eight years later… we still get compliments. And we still love
it. Thumbs UP!

They do great designs but they are expensive. They are efficient, on time, and cleaned up well. They did what they said they would do. I wanted the job to be done right so I guess I have to pay the piper.
