I gave them a key to my place and it was finished perfectly when I came back home.

Estimator (Gary) recommended a particular skylight and took measurements for it. He collected $200 to "reserve" the appointed day. On the selected day, we waited and waited for the installers. When they were 2 hours late, a call was made to the office. Chris said he would contact the installers and get back to me right away. He never called. Another hour passed. Another telephone to Chris revealed the installers weren't coming that day. Inclined to cancel, but they already had my $200 and the thought of having to go to small claims court to get it back was discouraging. Rescheduled. The installers came (Robert) and did a terrific job.

The company was excellent at offering recommendations throughout the project. The skylights are moisture sensitive as they will close if rain begins falling. They coordinated their project with the roofing company to assure a good schedule. The installers were very talented and knowledgeable. When I asked them questions, they were able to respond in an informative manner. They communicated with me throughout the project with their schedule and progress.

After enjoying our first skylight from Skylights Unlimited for several years, we knew it was time for another. We had no concern about putting another hole in our roof. Installing their Velux skylights has been our most satisfying home improvement. They artfully frame their skylights to give our home a custom look and enhance our living space. With many options to choose, their showroom is a home with several models installed. We prefer the remote controlled Velux skylight, which opens and shuts (with a rain sensor), and has a shade for light control (for TV viewing, etc.). They obtained the appropriate building permit, cut the roof and installed the window glass on the first day; after the first inspection, they completed the electrical work and dry walled the interior enclosure. Ask for Nick, for site inspection and installation. Also, before your order, determine if Skylights Unlimited will stain/paint the trim and drywall.
