Description of Work: Repaired two pendulum wall clocks which had stopped working. One just stopped after years of service. The other broke a spring during winding.

 + -1 moreWell as you can see, four of these five clocks were repaired two to three years ago plus one more in January of this year. They're all still running just fine. Also the lady who we referred to him for her quartz movement clock repair is still very pleased.
Description of Work: While visiting a Seal Beach antique shop a number of years ago, I admired some of the antique Vienna regulator style wall clocks they had for sale. It occurred to me that if anyone knew a reliable clock repairman they would. I own a Vienna regulator so I asked the lady behind the counter who she relied upon for her antique clock repairs. Without hesitation she gave John Furcean's business card. In the fall of 2014 I contacted John to have him give me an estimate on two clocks. One was a standard school clock reproduction and the other was an antique German free swinger. Based on my experience with the cost of clock repairs in the past I had him go ahead with the repairs. The following spring of 2015 he repaired two more clocks. A grandfather clock plus an antique Vienna three weight wall clock. These four clocks have performed beautifully ever since. This year he has repaired a reproduction of a Louis the 15th bracket clock for me and he took care of a clock for a friend of ours. Boy is she pleased, "The chime sounds better than it did when she bought it," she says.
