MDH Project Management

Michael Horn is professional and did a quality job. I upgraded my home
electric service to a 200A panel. I called Mike for a quote to patch the
stucco. I ended up texting Mike a picture of the wall to be patched and
had a price in minutes. Mike had one of his crew at the house the next
morning and within a few days the city final inspection, brown coat and
texture were  all done. And it looks great.

MDH Management was always on time, courteous, great with communication and staying in budget as well as continuously working without abusing breaks. We sat down with Michael at MDH Management the day we got keys and discussed what needed to be done. He listened to our ideas and proposed some of his own, but ultimately left all decisions up to us. We consulted with him whenever a new problem presented itself (as in the case of the backroom not being properly attached to the house) and he always helped to resolve any hesitation or worry that we had. He was constantly checking in on us, making sure that we were okay with everything that was going on and ensuring us that while it looked like it would take forever, things would come to an end at some point. And he was right. We love everything that MDH Management did for us and cannot wait to use them in the future.

They were on time, very courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and did not exceed the estimate. They were very up front about costs and what needed to be done. Unlike other restoration outfits (recommended by previous plumbers), who seemed to want you to make an immediate decision, MDH (Michael) was no pressure. They were not only better, but less expensive. My opinion is that other outfits care only for a quick buck and don't care if you use them again (they get referrals from "kick backs" from the plumbers). MDH obviously is more concerned about developing a lasting working relationship. I certainly will have no hesitation about using them in the future for more necessary projects (re-doing retaining wall, patio, patio cover, exterior painting, and facing). These guys are pros and really make all other contractors look bad.

Mike put in a good bid, and stuck to it. During the course of the project he gave me several reasonable change orders (for facia, gutters etc) which I approved. Mike is a true contractor, he has a small crew for the framing and carpentry, and he subcontracted the specialty trades: concrete, roofing gutters and tiling. The end product looked great, and overall it was a great experience. The project took a bit longer than expected, but that was mostly because of the rain this spring which kept delaying the roof job. He was very attentive, always called back promptly, spent a lot of time at the site. His crew was great, at one point a tarp blew off during a rainstorm, i called him and one of his guys was on the roof strapping it back down within an hour.
