Dan's Tree Service

Dan showed up when he said he would, worked diligently and got the job done in 2 days.

They were referred to me by a friend ten to fifteen years ago and I have used their services ever since. They were absolutely excellent. They did the work very promptly and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to other members. They did not hack the trees but shape them artistically.

We got a really good estimate from Dan to remove a tree & trim two others. Before the work commenced, though, a storm took out one of the trees. Dan came by the next day to take a look at the downed tree, and arranged to come the following day to remove it. He didn't show, and didn't call. I had to follow up with him, and arrange another day. When his crew did show up, he left them to perform the work, checking in once or twice during the day. Although industrious, the two guys performing the work were far from fastidious, and left a big mess. They left a rake in the middle of the sidewalk, and didn't clean up the debris. We had agreed to remove the second tree and perform tree trimming approx. 1 1/2 weeks later, and again the crew didn't show up on the day agreed upon. Yet again I had to call and make alternative arrangements. Once the crew arrived, they were industrious, but messy. They did a good job with the tree removal, and the trimmed tree looks very good. However, it was very difficult tracking Dan down to return the rake & give him his check. I like the work that Dan's Tree Service performs, but I am frustrated with the difficulty in talking to Dan & getting a committment for a start date.
