My cousin complained about the electrical work and that was fixed. The contractor Patrick Barry was paid for all work prior to the bathroom remodel. The bathroom was, by far, the worst of his work. The tile job was so poor that we contacted C.T.I.O.A ( Ceramic Tile Institute of America) and hired them to inspect and evaluate this job. Paul Wilson did the inspection and provided us with a 14 page report with photos and recommendations. Prior to beginning the job, we provided the contractor with a drawing and step by step notes about the installation. This drawing was prepared by Kristen Khan of Daltile. Patrick Barry told us that he had gone over the drawing with his tile man. When we saw the finished job, we were beside ourselves because the job was so poor and did not look like the drawing nor was it a professional installation. All of the materials for the bathroom such as the tile, the grout, the vanity, the sink, the stone top of the sink, the medicine cabinet, the faucets, the shower faucets, the shower heads and the diverter were all supplied by us at our expense. We have now received two estimates for removing and replacing the work and have no intention of paying Patrick Barry any more money for his shoddy work. We have also reported him to the Contractors State License Board. When we informed Patrick Barry of the CTIOA report findings, he stated he would put us in collections and ruin our credit. We also noticed that his business card address lists 5152 Bolsa Ave., Suite 110, Huntington Beach - somewhat similar to his address here - and he only uses his first name on Angie's list. WE WOULDN'T EVER USE THIS PERSON AGAIN OR RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!
