Called Gary at Air Vista on Friday (my heating died Thursday evening). He couldn't fit me in but said he could be here Monday morning. Monday morning he called, set a time and was here promptly. He assessed the problem, gave me the option of purchasing a new circuit board or replacing the unit. The unit was 20 years old, so we went with getting a new one. He said he could get one and install it the next day. It was pouring that morning and he called to say he was a little behind schedule. In other words, he kept me apprised of every step, he and his helper arrived and did the work quickly and efficiently. I can't recommend Gary enough! He's honest and does great work. What more could a client ask for?

I spoke to Gary on the telephone yesterday afternoon to schedule an appointment for this morning at 8:30am. He knew where I lived; he has been here before. He confirmed the appointment and even indicated that he has an appointment in Irvine an hour before mine. Last evening he called to tell me he doesn't service my area anymore. He added that it would technically be a 3 hour service for him with all the traffic to get to where I live. He set me back two days. Highly unprofessional!

Gary is great to work with. Very professional, on time, and responsive. I had him replace my 20-y/o AC and furnace. Gary used Rheem for the AC and furnace. The new AC is super quiet. I would recommend because you are dealing with direct instead of the job getting contracted out.

Great job from inspection and quote process to work done. Gary understood what we wanted and made sure we received a full inspection and quote for our best interest (and future upgrades) as well as specific quote for exactly what we asked for, which was only replacement ductwork. I am happy to know what other things we can do to improve our home without pressure to do it all right now. I feel this adds to professionalism with understanding of budgets and priorities. The materials and work quality are stellar.

Gary and his assistant came and fixed the initial leak. When the neighbor's garage ceiling started leaking, he came back and fixed another issue.

Excellent prompt service. Responded to initial call within one hour. Maintenance performed competently and as as scheduled. Price was reasonable.

They came the day after we called, on time, very professional. Diagnosed problem, had parts to fix it and were in and out in an hour. Will definitely use them again.

We recently moved in to this house. When we had our gas reinstated, the Gas Company guy wrote up a couple of action items for us to fix. I immediately went to Angie's List and called Gary based on the reviews. He answered my first call and told him about the items that they Gas Company guy wrote us up about. He then told me that he can come in the following day, first thing in the morning. He came right on time. Very pleasant and polite. He reviewed the write ups and inspected the problems. He didn't upsell. Some of the things were trivial and he recommended that we can just leave it alone. When we got to the furnace door, he immediately saw the problem caused by prior contractors that were hired by the previous owner of the house. He also noticed that there is no safety plug installed. He explained to me the problem and his proposed solution. I went with his recommendation. He made sure that the issues were resolved before he left. He was through and the end results were great. Definitely will recommend him and will use him again should other issues arise.

I called and a technician arrived at my house within an hour. He patiently explained everything he was doing and diagnosed the problem. I ended up with functioning air conditioning for only the cost of the trip charge. Since it was 106 degrees today, I really appreciated the prompt service.

Excellent. I contacted Gary at approximately 11:00 a.m. and by 1:00 p.m. he was at the house. Frankly, I was worried I wouldn't find someone on a Friday prior to a 3-day weekend weekend who would be available. When Gary arrived at the house, he quickly assessed and corrected the problem and only charged for the $80 home visit fee. Gary was very, friendly, informative, professional and responsive and we really appreciated his assistance, in particular on such short notice. Thank you so much. Great job!

I thought it was very honest that he did not charge me saying that he could not do the work at the time. I think it went very well.

Very professional, organized, and punctual. Gary and his crew were friendly and took great care with the installation. Gary pulled the city permits and scheduled the city inspection around my schedule. Excellent company.

When other services wouldn't even answer my calls over the Christmas holiday weekend, Gary did call me back and came as planned on Monday morning. He checked my 40 year old furnace and found no issues other than the pilot light had gone out. He relit the pilot light and after 4 days of no heat, the furnace worked again. I know that my furnace is at the end of its life, but am thankful for Gary's honesty in not taking advantage of that. I will definitely call him when the furnace finally dies.

I've used Air Vista a few times over the years with nothing but great results. My HVAC system is getting a little long in the tooth so issues are popping up a bit more regularly. A couple of years ago during a heat wave my AC stopped blowing called a competitor first who told me I needed a whole new system = $4K. I called Air Vista for a second look. Gary (the owner) came right out diagnosed That the blower motor was shot and had it fixed later the same day for only a few hundred dollars. Gary did mention that the age if the unit will result in theses thing happening a bit more frequently but there is no need to replace it if the issues can be addressed at lower cost. Incident 2 happened this past September when I noticed water (condensation ) coming through my bedroom ceiling. I used a recommendation of a neighbor first. He came out did some little adjustment charged his service call but the problem was not corrected. I called Air Vista and Gary and Allen came out and correctly tested the system found a combination of low coolant and dirty filter had iced up the coils. He did offer options of replacing the system which were fair but still a major expense. So the fix this time was a clean filter, restore coolant to spec and add a drip tray and a emergency shut off if it leaks again. This cost a few hundred again but nowhere near replacement costs. Last week I learned my lesson when the fan stopped blowing heat and called Air Vista first. Allen came out and ran some tests and found that the roof cap on the exhaust vent had deteriorated and caved in on itself, causing blockage pressure and forcing the unit to shut down. Allen also found a failed wire nut during his inspection and replaced it. This one cost me the service visit plus the price of a new roof vent cap which Allen installed. Gary and Air Vista are straight shooters. There is no pressure to upgrade or replace the unit if you aren't willing or able to. Gary seems to find a successful fix, at least to the problems I have encountered, that works and is affordable. It has been pretty easy to contact them, they return calls quickly and appointments in my experience have been the same or next day. Air Vista is my first call from now on and I will definitely recommend them.

They were able to change my appointment to an earlier time and they showed up earlier. Checked out the heating system to insure that everything was in working order. Cleaned the air filter. Aujusted the thermastat. Made sure that I knew how to work the system. Very professional. I will use them in the future.

Was late but called to let me know (no harm, no foul). Explained everything he was doing and why. Told me the cost before he did anything. Most important, he squeezed me in on the day after I called, and handled my schedule constraints. Would recommend and use again.

I would use them again. He was very professional. He took the time to explain how my furnace works and what to do to maintain it. As a first time homeowner I really appreciated that. Turned out it was just the filter and he had one with him, so it was an efficient repair call.

I was happy with the service. I thought the guy was really good because he explained everything he did. He showed me what was wrong and everything he did. I really liked that he took the time to explain to me everything that was causing the issue before he did any work to fix it. He was really good about that. He took the time to explain about what was happening. I felt the pricing was fair and he was very knowledgeable. I would definitely use him again in the future. I have kept his card on the furnace if I have any further issues.

This was an all good service call. Can't complain. I would recommend them.
