This man is a con artist and took advantage of a terminally ill senior woman. I was defrauded in numerous ways including paying 10s of thousands of dollars that he absconded with. He would not show me where my money has gone. He did not fix the plumbing issues I hired him for, he only started new projects instead. He seems to be a great guy, but it?s not genuine. He was there when I received my diagnosis, so he targeted me from the start. 3 months ago he started but never worked here. He would just drop off an employee & was a no show too many times to count. He made one excuse after another, in the hospital 2 or 3 times for oxygen, stomach ailments where he was bed bound for days at a time, when he was working elsewhere always. I am angry at myself for this. He befriended me & my adult sons & wanted to be there for me until I pass on. He wanted to make my house nice for the time I had left, & for my estate for my sons. On top of that he won?t return garage door opener.

I highly, Highly, HIGHLY recommend Advantage "Angel" Plumbing & Drain Company, and the owner, J.R. aka Jud (714) 292-1164. Call him for a quote!!! He is the kindest, nicest, most honest man, as well as being a man of his word. He has excellent communication skills, is very professional, cleaned up afterward, and best of all, he is honest and good, and he will work with you. I requested a quote from him to fix our leaking kitchen sink piping, and he came out the same day, Monday 9/9/24. He gave me his quote, which was more than fair. He was ready to fix the leak, but money is super tight, like to the penny (I had to get my car fixed first), and I told him that I would call him in the beginning of October, when our money came in. He worked with me and said he would go ahead and fix the leak right now. I couldn't help it, I cried. I was so touched that this stranger would be so incredibly kind to me and my family. The work ended up being more involved than Jud originally thought, as is often the case with plumbing. He ended up going home, getting his drain snake tool, and snaking the piping. He should have charged me way more, and I was willing to pay him more, but he stuck to his original quote. I told him I would at least pay half the cost, but he said nope, he wouldn't take it. He stuck to his original quote. Who does that, especially these days??? I am so grateful to him and for him. Jud has a customer for life, and I will recommend him to everyone that I know. My family was stuck in a difficult situation that eventually ended up with me having to call the water department. That went nowhere. At a very late time, this company saved the day and possibly bigger damage had he not stepped in. This review is more about the fact that Jud worked with us. I don't think he was technically obligated to come, but he did. Explained every step of the process. He understood the situation and fixed it. Anyway, If you're looking for a good handyman he is your guy. 10 stars if possible. **Sidenote, he is good at picking appliances.

He was very efficient and knew what he was doing. He replaced a kitchen faucet that had not been working properly and also fixed a leak under the sink by replacing a rusted out section of the drain line. We were very pleased with his work and how quickly he completed it. Best plumbing experience that I can remember.
