First I must say to the reviewers that whoever gave him an F is a complete idiot. The reason I chose this man's work over the others is the extreme attention to detail he takes and the very clear list of what he can and cannot comment on. Many people think just a home inspection is sufficient to gauge the property's assessment. It's not. He spells out what needs follow up from a licensed professional specializing in the area of expertise, namely structural engineers, soil stability experts, licensed electricians, and so on. He's very clear in his report what he can and can't comment on. So if you give him an F review because he 'won't be accountable'...that's unfair...he's not allowed to be accountable because he's a home inspector, not an expert in a specific discipline of trade. So my sense is the F grader is ignorant of the difference and his review should be disregarded. Contractors can only be held accountable for what they are licensed in. He's reviewed three properties and I'd definitely hire again and again.
