I was misinformed and then told that my dog's spay surgery would be a whopping $155 OVER the amount I had been origionally told of $200 which I agreed on. I literally am so upset about this service! They firstly tell me that my dog is on heat (when I know she isn't because I had checked her days prior and also had gone to a vet beforehand to check how long until she was done). I had been told the surgery quote was $200, then they increase the cost to $355 after the surgery?? I did not agree to that and should have been told up front. This is OVERPRICED and MISINFORMED, completely opposite of their statement of their desire to serve their community, instead they just want to overcharge their customers. Never going here again.

I initially went in the to have my chihuahuas anal glands expressed but upon closer inspection they said that it was abcessed and that I needed to see the Dr. they said they would let me know when I could come back but they put me in right away. The Dr is young and very personable. He explained two different methods of taking care of it but he favored giving her a shot for inflammation and sending is home with medication as opposed you doing a mini surgery on her which would have required sedation. He took my dogs age (17 years old) into consideration and I really appreciated that. You can tell he loves animals and he listens to you. The girls in the front are friendly.

They are friendly. Obviously, they care about animals - that doesn't sound like that big of a deal but it is, sometimes. The Doctor was very explanatory and told me what he was doing.

Our dog is accident prone. I like everything about Desert Care except the office is rather small. It's not their fault though. I really like the doctor, he is really good. Also, the care givers take really good care of the animals. I would give them an A, all the way down, and will continue to see them in the future.
