Stan rocks. I have to say I have used architects in the past, but the price and quality of his work is superb compared to anyone have ever used. Full set of as-built drawings; full set of new design drawings; clearing the paperwork through the city of LA (which would have been a nightmare for me). He very professionally dealt with issues we had - including prior owner's illegal build (which we are going to have replaced).
Very impressed with his demeanor - no drama, no issues that can't be dealt with. Highly recommend him!

Stan did an amazing job listening to my needs. He came over on a Saturday, looked over the house, we walked breifly around the neighborhood where I showed him other homes with porches that I liked. he didnt talk much at all, he just listened and took lots of pictures. His first drafts were exactly what I wanted. After we agreed on the design, he got the plans stamped by his engineer, he visited the Redondo Beach city hall several time to get the plans approved by the planning department and pulled the building permits from the engineering department. He recommended a fantastic contractor, and did some site visits to keep the contractor honest to the plans (especially the new roofline, which was tricky to build)
