They were very responsive, and Nick was prompt. I had confidence in his expert opinion and inspection of the drain repair that the sellers had someone else do. I am extremely glad that I got my own plumber to look at the remedy objectively, because there was still evidence of a small leak. I was very impressed with every aspect of Pacific Coast Plumbing, from the way they handled my initial call through how they answered my questions after the technician had left.  I had a plumbing backup the evening before New Year's Eve (Dec 30) and was concerned I wouldn't be able to find anybody around to work on it.  When I called PCC they had a plumber on duty who discussed my situation and answered my questions about whether I could use other plumbing in the house and whether the other people in my condo building could use theirs.  (We've had persistent problems with backups, and when they happen the people at the other end of the line have to stop using water so my place doesn't flood).
We arranged for them to come the next morning (New Year's Eve) and they showed up a little before the expected time.  Their work took about 15 minutes.  My only problem with the service was the technician spoke little English and I speak no Spanish so it wasn't clear to me what he was saying about what caused the problem (he kept saying something that sounded like "grass," which was important because we have roots growing in the main exit pipe).  I called the main office after he left, explained my question, and they promptly had someone  bilingual in the office get hold of him and relay my question and his response.
I was particularly impressed because I'd been told on the phone the night before that the work would cost $135 if the problem was between my unit and the feeder line, and $350 if it was between my unit and the street.  If he'd told me it was the bigger problem I'd have no way to get a second opinion around the holidays, and since we've had many problems with that type of problem I was keeping my fingers crossed that they wouldn't try to "up-sell" me.
All in all I had a great experience and would gladly hire them again.  Incidentally, they were not listed on Angie's List, so I found them on Yelp.  They had lots of positive reviews about all types of plumbing, not just drain cleaning.
