BIKE SHOP

Hands-down a top-notch bike shop for both sales and service. I was referred to The Bike Shop and its owner, Mohammad, by Julian K a very engaged and experienced bicycle advocate in the Hermosa Beach area (if you bike in Hermosa Beach you probably know Julian). I had met Julian at the local MickeyD's and told him I was in the market for comfortable cruiser bikes for me and my wife. He strongly recommended The Bike Shop. We shopped for bicycles at The Bike Shop, at other local independent bicycle stores, at the chains and did the usual Google searching before deciding on Electra Townie bikes for both of us. Mohammad carried them in his store (in fact he gave us a copy of the Electra catalog which was very helpful), offered the best price and his warm, patient and knowledgeable customer service absolutely won us over. The bicycles were thoroughly serviced and adjusted for us when we came by for them. Mohammad ensured that the fit was just right. He even helped my wife with fitting a bike helmet she had purchased elsewhere. I've since been back to Mohammad for a flat tire repair and a Mirrycle Bike Mirror which he recommended and then promptly installed upon my purchase. Mohammad and his team are unfailingly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and their business practices are fair and honest. I give them the very highest recommendation.
