Sprint - Hemet

The plans for three phones were set up incorrectly. We were overcharged over a period of about four months, to an amount of about $310. I made several phone calls, and was told each time that the bills would be credited and corrected. They eventually got corrected, but the $310 was not refunded. After writing a couple of times, I was given a bill credit of $170, "for my trouble." I wrote a last letter saying that that was an unsatisfactory amount and that I expected an additional $140. Have not seen it yet. Am considering small claims court. We're stuck with Sprint service, because it is the only company that will work in our neighborhood.

I am in the process of canceling all my Nextel service since coming to Southern California. My remaining lines were under contract and we live just in the fringe of there normal coverage area for this location. Swapped phones, went in for service. Calls are dropped often. I called CS to cancel the lines and asked to have the Early Term Fee waived due to the circumstances. They refused, because I had not submitted a trouble ticket. I told to check their notes as I had reported numerous reception/dropped call problems since relocating. I submitted the ticket, it was not worked on. I resubmitted. Tech found that it was a coverage issue and nothing could be done. Finally took three transfers and two very rude, inexperienced reps and one manager to get my fee waived. 6+ year customer with many lines and they said my history didn't matter. Was told it is not their problem if I live in a low coverage area and can't use the phone. Never again.
