In less than one year the nylon bushing that the screw travels through to pull up the door had worn out.
Approx. Nov. 2012 new nylon bushing was slid into track of screw drive, problem proclaimed fixed.  No reason given for failure of first bushing.
7/23/2013- 2nd bushing failed. Called for service.
As of 7/25/2013- no return call.
Called another Company (7.25.13) who came out within the hour. Diagnosis: Wrong springs(Too Weak for Steel door) were installed which put extreme force on the nylon bushing, wearing it out and wearing out the garage door motor prematurely.
Solution: Another company  Installed correct springs for a steel door, and new garage door opener.
upgraded garage door wheels.
Did Cal-Garage Door Co. know they had installed incorrect springs for a steel door?  The Owner who did the job has been in business for over 20 yrs!

Excellent experience. Would recommend highly. I called for service before noon and they were able to have someone come out that afternoon. Bernie was the name of the service person that arrived and had the garage door opener working within minutes.

We have had a terrible time with our remote controls. Sometimes we need to be about three feet from the door, sometimes we need to get out of the car, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Since then we've had them out three times. I wanted a small opener I could fit in my purse, and it turns out that they didn't have anything that would work with the opener that I had, so I needed to install a new one, and that is what started this whole thing.
