Window Service
$1,830
We'd dealt with them years ago and called them again. Their salesman came out and gave a quote. There was a small clause. They told us that San Francisco now requires a building permit to replace windows. The initial contract indicated the minimum labor charge would be $75 to pull permits. When push came to shove and we got the final bill, they charged us the cost of the permit ($105) and three hours labor to go down to pull the permit ($225). We contacted them about this and they kind of blew it off and said it could have been worse, that sometimes they have to spend all day down there getting permits. The contract was not very clear regarding the cost of them pulling the permit and the salesman did not explain. We've also never seen anyone from the city to inspect the windows as they are supposed to. They didn't clean up their mess very well and the quality of the windows is not what we expected.
