The Shed Shop is a full-service shed company that specializes in both traditional storage sheds and studio/office sheds. Since 1989, we have installed over 16,000 sheds and studios in the SF Bay Area. Our buildings are suitable for home & garden storage, home office, workshop, art/music studio, playhouse, hobby room, and many other uses. We also do detached garages. Visit our outdoor showroom in Fremont to seem full size demo buildings. Prices include delivery and complete set-up on site in our local service area.

The Shed Shop staff and management were very professional and forthright from my first contact through job completion.
They did an immediate site inspection. I visited their location, and Paul Johnston was very helpful. My only disappointment was that I already had several ideas about things that I wanted as part of my "custom" shed. Many of these are not part of The Shed Shop "customizing." Rather than being truly custom-built, their products are based on numerous standard buildings, each having numerous options. Within those parameters, each shed is customized by the customer's choices. Because I wanted certain specific things, I had to hire an electrician and a finish carpenter to do things such as install a custom door, pegboard and specific electrical capabilities. Those comments notwithstanding, I agree with another reviewer who said that The Shed Shop product is substantially higher quality than anything I have seen in the home improvement stores.
There was a significant wait time due to their backlog, but they went out of their way to fit my shed installation into their overall work schedule at the earliest possible date, (which was within my desired time frame). At all times, I felt that I was kept well informed and well treated.
The installation, itself, was done on time, as specified, and by very capable and considerate people.
I would certainly recommend The Shed Shop to anyone looking for an attractive, strong, and well built shed with many options. If, however, you want a truly customizable shed, you will need to look elsewhere -- and undoubtedly pay a lot more.
I viewed a similar demo office at their facility and was impressed, so I asked for a quote from the company, including a/c, insulation, finished and painted interior and exterior, oak floor, LED lighting, network and electrical wiring to the house, new circuit breakers, and so on, to be installed on an existing concrete pad. The owner came out to the property and made many good suggestions. I accepted the quote (which was much less expensive than adding on to the house) and the construction process went smoothly and efficiently, with no surprises. Any small remaining issues were promptly addressed. The Shed Shop also pulled the permit and arranged for inspections. Very pleased with the outcome. Shed Shop is one-of-a-kind in this area.
The office staff was helpful, competent, and low pressure. Once we settled on all the options, we were able to have our custom shed installed within a couple of weeks.
Installation also went very smoothly (we had separate landscapers prep the site), with the construction finished in a day and
electrical added shortly thereafter.
We love our new shed! I wouldn't hesitate to use The Shed Shop again, and recommend them to our friends.

I found an office model that I like and that would meet our needs. They have "packages" which you can customize to your preferences and needs. The owner is very nice and helpful and the workers very conscientious and clean.
The owner came out to see the site in our side yard and determined if it would work. The full package was more expensive than we expected but we are very pleased with it.
Our only problem was that they were booked so far out in advance that it took longer than was convenient for us. Also the job was split up into different segmented days weeks apart bringing us into rainy weather causing some more delays. If this was done on a quicker time schedule I would certainly give an A.
We opted to do our own painting to save a little on the costs and the outside painting is delayed due to rainy weather but it does look wonderful inside and outside.
