THE REPAIR GUYS

The disconnect went just fine, but the reconnect could not have gone worse. We are not "handy" at all and wanted to be sure the gas dryer was hooked up correctly. We thought it would be simple for someone who knew what they were doing and were willing to pay to be sure it was done right. As soon as the repair guy left, I went back downstairs and confirmed that I really did smell gas. I ended up calling another company on an emergency basis, who sent someone right out, told me the person had connected a valve to a valve and left us in a life-threatening situation. Needless to say, we stopped the checks and called to complain. The supervisors (Randy Casper/Steve Cesena) said they were licensed plumbers when asked (no license found) and that the repair guy who came out worked for them. They were sorry and offered to pay the bill for the real plumber who put the right connectors on the gas lines. I think this is done by guys on their way to work.
