Another local provider with good reviews recommended Stay Cleaned Up,
since that provider used a truck, rather than a portable steam cleaner,
and could not do high rise buildings (above three stories). Michael
Fubara, one of the managers of Stay Cleaned Up, took my order by
telephone on April 2, and quoted me a price based on the square footage
and my request for Scotch guarding (which was extra). He was able to
have his partner Davonne Barnett handle the project the next day (April
3, 2013). Davonne was scheduled to arrive between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00
noon. He called at 11:30 to tell me he would arrive around 11:45 a.m.
and did so. First Davonne pre-treated the carpets with a solution; then
he steam cleaned them; then he Scotch guarded them. I was amazed at
the difference--they looked like new. I would definitely use Stay Cleaned Up again and recommend this company to other owners in my building.
