Super service and easy to work with

They are really good. They are really well known vendor for our area. They are a big company. They do a lot of stuff for the community. They clean it all up and take it with them.

Pacheco Bros has been a landscape maintenance provider for many years and they had won the bid to do a significant part of the city park and median maintenance. The service was adequate but with only about 30 days notice they quit - saying they could no longer provide the service. The City now uses Fluoratech and they are working fine.

I admit that I was suspicious from the beginning as other bids had come in at almost twice the amount and the bricks alone were over $1200 at the one place that I had located them. Things quickly went down hill from there when the work crew showed up with picks and shovels and within ten minutes had punctured the water main from the street. But the real show ended after the trenches had been dug and base poured and it was time to buy the bricks. Nothing happened for several weeks, then Pacheco Brothers suddenly had a and quot;family crisisand quot; and could not complete the job. They offered to refund my $1500 down payment minus billing for work already done. That came to $1420 as I remember, leaving me with an abandoned job, open trenches, and a $80 refund (which I refused). Later I found they had also broken the underground sprinkler lines in seven different places. I eventually found another contractor to finish the job for about $4000. He also had to redo a fair portion of the concrete base in several places. I guess this is another example of and quot;If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isand quot;.

I made a call to Gary and he stopped by that evening. Within a week we had agreed on a price and scheduled a date/time. The work was completed on time and the team also met the challenge of removing an old tree stump. The yard was done in a morning with efficient cleanup.

They did it so fast and were so clean. They even ground the stump down for me. There were no problems with this job or residual roots at all.

I had been having a moisture problem on a rental-during the winters the inside of the house would get a moldy smell. I asked Pacheco Bros to take a look and they recommended that I install a French drain system between the house and the backyard, which sloped toward the house. I had to have the work done quickly because tenants were moving in soon. They scheduled the job when I wanted and brought enough people to get it done in a day.

They installed a drip irrigation system. Later, another workman I had hired to do something else screwed it up when he did some work near part of the system, and they came out and fixed it without charge even though it wasn't their fault.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS HORRENDOUS. THE LANDSCAPE DESIGN WAS NOT TO CODE. NO CONTRACTOR WAS WILLING TO PROVIDE QUOTE AS ALL CONSIDERED PLAN AMATEUR AND VERY CONCEPTUAL. NO DETAIL PROVIDED. NO SITE SURVEY DONE. NO REFERECE TO BUILDING CODES. VERY VERY POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL. PACHECO BROTHERS LANDSCAPING REFUSED TO REFUND MONEY PAID.
