Hydrex was a problem from the beginning. I had a detailed discussion to start services, I have 2 dogs and since they wanted to come during hte day I needed to be home so they could spray inside as well as for me to bring the dogs inside during the treatment time. I set it up for a day when I work from home. That worked about 2 times. I never got advanced notice of the service, but a couple of times I just so happened to either be home or have someone at my home when they dropped by. After the treatments, I wouldn't have any ant or spider problems for about 3 weeks but then subsequently still have to use a department store spray outside.
I called the office several times (I kept all the notes with dates and times) and tried to get them on track. Each time I was told they would communicate only to have it happen again the next time.I finally decided to cancel the services, you have to commit to at least 1 year of service, I gave them about 2. The finally straw came when once again they showed up during a time when I was at work, I had a note left on my door with time in and time out - a total of 10 mins - and info that they sprayed the front of hte house only because my dogs were in the back yard. I was charged for a full service.
I called and wrote letters to Hydrex with copies of the notice asking them to reduce the price to match the service. I got no return calls or written responses. What I did get were multiple invoices, late notices, threats to send to collections and collection calls in return. I left additional messages and wrote another lettter with copies of hte invoices. After several months I was finally able to talk to someone who at first said they would send someone out to "complete the service", I DECLINED. Finally, we agreed I would pay half, which was still more than I felt they deserved but I wanted it done and to be done with this company.

This year I received a call from them telling me about a special promotion they had for previous clients. I decided to try them again because I needed their spider service and the technician that handled my account was very good.  I told the man I was interested in the special and we discussed the services offered.  He agreed to provide the same services I had under my old contract.  He said someone would get in touch with me provide a contract.  It took the a couple of weeks of my calling to finally get someone to talk to me about the contract. After another week and a half John Sizemore emailed me a contract and I completed it but the form didn't have a real fax number on it at the top it just had 888-123-1234 and after trying a couple of times unsuccessfully, I gave up and I tried to email it back but  it bounced back. I called the office to get a valid fax number and the man who answered the phone refused to give it to me. He kept asking me questions and I told him I wasn't a current customer but had a complete contract I was trying to get to them.  He still refused to provide a fax number and  I asked to speak to his supervisor.  When I got him and explained my problem, he laughed and said the receptionist was new - and John must have used an old contract form.  He claimed he didn't have the number but would the fax number and call me back ...needless to say he never did. I called one more time to try and schedule a spider service (I am nothing if I'm not persistent!) and a woman said the technician would call me back. He did! And he remembered me from my first service and said he check on the contract and get back to me. He never did. 
They never told me why they didn't want my business but they obviously didn't.

Overall they have been very good, but it is some what expensive. They are professional.

I have used them three times. They were the first person that could come out. They said you couldn?t eradicate the hornets because they were black hornets. He said you could only control them. Knock on wood; I haven't had any more since they did the treatment. Then I thought I had yellow jackets or bees outside and the man came and said they were paper wasps, so he sprayed in that area. I had seen in the eaves on my second story house some hives and he came back again and took those down on the third visit. He also found some paper wasps nests in the backyard, which I would have never seen. He is also coming today. Their price was comparable to everyone else. They were very responsive.

Inspector came out within 2 hours of my initial call. While doing other construction, I found termite damage in my garage. He inspected my entire home including the crawl space. No other signs of termite or termite damage was located.
