EXCELLENT! When our heater died, we found them on Angie's List. Jeff came out very soon to give us a quote. He was very informative and professional. We had read the reviews and decided to go with them without even getting other quotes. It wasn't the lowest price around I'm sure.....but it was about what we expected, other than a couple of newer additions which I'm sure we will be happy with. 5 young men (Joaquin/Ben/Dillon/Alvaro/Allen) started the next morning! This was quicker than it might have been because it's April & not high season for worrying about heat. These men were Friendly, Informative, Efficient, Capable. I can't say enough good about them. I have a home office and an income tax business, so I was here working and they were here for 3 full days. I was Completely comfortable with them around. It was an Exceptional job done and I'm kind of going to miss them! ;-) Great Job ABC!

Technician did a Great job!

Oh really good, til a few days ago. They were suppose to do a semi-annual maintenance I forgot they were going to show up and they left a thing on my door, sorry we missed you. But they are great, it was my fault I dropped the ball. They do during spring for the summer and also in the fall for the winter. They are a good deal as long as everything is services. They don't charge me a fortune finding repairs which they didn't, so I think they are pretty honest. They seem efficient and confident. I am using them again in a couple of weeks.

Estimate to fix coil $1700...wow. Difficult area understood... not advised when installed that there were other choices. Also never indicated that any repairs would cost a premium. Cannot handle worrying that each time something was wrong the above charge would re-occur. Others have quoted less. Also checked neighbors who got a quote from them for $8,000 for duct work....had the work done by another company for $800.

The office staff, especially Mindy, is incredibly friendly and the technician that came to my home twice, once for the A/C and once for the heater, is really nice and knows what he is doing. I really appreciate their honesty. They've never tried to sell me something I didn't need. I understand they also provide a plumbing service. I definitely will use them in the future.

Excellent. Randy arrived after hours (7:30 pm) after we came home to a warm house. He was courteous and efficient. Showed us everything prior to completing the work.

Tech was very knowledgeable and friendly.  A recent roof replacement seemed to have caused some damage to the return air ducting which allowed insulation to get into the area where the A/C cooling coil is located - seriously blocking air flow.  The tech  thoroughly cleaned the area and tired to locate the source of problem.  He could find nothing, so duct will have to be checked, requiring attic access - this will be done at a later date.  Right now everything is working and no more insulation is getting into the unit.  Unit was also low on freon which was resolved.
One issue I have  with ABC is that they are actually owned and operated by Allbritten which was not mentioned at the time I scheduled the appointment.  I was a little surprised to see the Allbritten Tech show up at my door.  Not sure why they are operating under two different names.  Thus the "B" for professionalism.

In this Central Valley, there's nothing more terrifying than the thought of your air conditioner going on the fritz in the dead of summer. When that nightmare becomes a painful reality, AC-less victims pray that it can get fixed and it can get fixed fast. When our AC went out late one August evening, we suffered through the night and then went straight to the phone to find solutions. It was difficult to find service in our area, but ABC was on it. Originally, we were given a 1 to 5 p.m. time frame, and were elated when they called to see if they could come sooner. Once here, things were fixed very quickly. The technician, Isaac, explained everything and laid out options. He also enrolled us in bi-annual service of our heater and cooler. The price was what I expected for an air conditioner, but just having them take care of things in less than three hours from the original phone call made the greatest impression. They are good - efficient, professional and courteous. I highly recommend ABC.

So I bought a new Centex house 2 1/2 years ago (not a builder I recommend by the way) and last night in the middle of June my air conditioner makes a frightful noise and goes out.  As I panic because I find out I am six months over my warranty I have to start hunting down a company to come out and this is like finding a needle in a haystack because there are so many.  I come across ABC and see it has the highest reviews so I give it a shot.  
They were extremely helpful, understanding of my panic and responsive the way customer service should be.  They were able to send a tech out to my house the same day (he was there within the hour!) and he was also very pleasant, informative and kept the price as reasonable as he could.  An air conditioner breaking in the summer in Fresno is a serious stressful event and ABC made the entire issue so much less stressful and I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the reasonable price and very quick service.  They are well worth their good rating!

Our heater (we have a combo unit) wasn't blowing hot air, so I called ABC Cooling & Heating because they had an Angie's List member coupon available and they had good reviews. I called them in the early afternoon, and by mid-afternoon they were already at my house. Very prompt. Courteous repairman, too. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem--a bad ignition module--and fix it. Seemed rather expensive to me (even after the coupon savings, the cost was $483), but then again, I don't know anything about heater repair (that's why I called these guys, after all) so I really have no frame of reference. Maybe you can use that number to determine if you think it's too expensive, or a good deal. The good news is that they let me split the payment into two checks, post-dating one for the next month, so I didn't get hit with the entire cost at once. The repairman told me that they did offer traditional financing on services costing $1,000 or more. 
All in all, it was a good experience, it didn't take too long, and we were happy with the job they did.

I'm confident that they know what they're doing.

The technician checked all parts throughout the attic and the house.  He made certain that everything was working well.  He cleaned and lubricated all working parts.

They were very good. They were very professional and they did a good job of maintaining the air conditioner. They gave me a lot of information on how to get better use of the air conditioner. The price was good.

I waited until the next morning since it was 10:00pm and called them. They quoted me a price, but when they got here I told the serviceman what was wrong and he confirmed it. I was then charged $300.00 to have the part replaced. I looked online and found the average price was $75.00. I called the Mgr. about the difference in over the phone price vs what I was charged and that I had my unit serviced by them every six months and my unit is only 8 years old and I thought the price was a little out of line. To paraphrase him I was told I got the better price. They do not charge a service call fee, but they make up for it on parts.

$85.00We had had 2 electricians out prior to this call but the breaker switch kept going off. He replaced the switch and we haven't had a problem since.

They arrived on time and work was completed within the estimated time frame - passed city inspection with flying colors!
