I really liked Rick who was the manager who quoted on the job. He was friendly and obviously knowledgeable and sharp. Unfortunately, he did not do much of the work. Some of his employees were sloppy and slow. After they did their work (and fortunately, while the walls were still open) we noticed that one of the copper pipes they installed above the shower knobs had a small leak. They also left a leak in the PVC drain under one of the sinks. Finally, they left leaks in both the stove and oven gas lines - we decided to have the gas company come and check it (even though they charged us) as we didn't trust Phillips to fix it properly. In the end, all the work got done properly and Rick was responsive and professional about responding to our complaints quickly. It's been a year since the work was done, and we have not had any problems. In addition, he was flexible with us on the timing for the various stages of our project and didn't complain when we said on more than one occasion that we weren't ready for the next stage of work because were waiting for material or because another contractor had to do some work first. Nevertheless, I wouldn't use Phillips again because of worries they would do some work improperly and cause us a problem later; I feel our job worked out fine in the end only because we were unusually vigilant.

Ron was very dependable and worked around various other contractors schedules. He was prompt, efficient (billed by the hour), and did quality work. His price was also more competitive than other plumbers we received bids from. Highly recommended.

The guy was able to come out and do the work the very next day after I called him. The worker was very nice and professional. He also finished very quickly.
