Green Shield Roofing was the best in the South Bay (Inglewood). After calling more than six other companies , Javier/Tony the owner came through and delivered what he promised. Competitive pricing, well worth the price. His team arrives on time, presentation was great, offered alternatives, and explained everything in detail. His team cleans up after each job. He even called if and when there was a delay with an inspection. His team was also respectful to the property and neighbors. He guarantees his work, even made extra trips to bring sample colors. Our experience with Green Shield Roofing has been exceptional. Tony is courteous, knowledgeable, easy to get in touch with, often on site giving direction, and did what he said he would. The crew arrived everyday, on time or early, started promptly, worked hard, cleaned up every day, and had such great attitudes it was a pleasure to be around them. The cement tile roof looks amazing. We are very happy with the results and the entire team. Absolutely recommend.

We had our kitchen and living room both expanded from the guest bedroom. Everything was done quickly and to a high standard. There were no pauses in the work except to wait for inspectors. The owner, explained everything that was going on and made sure it was all up to code. We'll be using Custom Home Remodeling & Roofing again in the future.

Customer service representative Joaquin (Tony) Alvarez was very helpful in selecting Custom Home Remodeling for our roofing replacement. He explained the scope of work in detail without the up sale of additional material. Complete updates as the work progress and very helpful keeping owners informed. A pleasure working with Mr. Alvarez, wouldn't hesitate to use this company for any future projects.

They have absolutely horrible customer service. They promised to show several times and never showed. Only finished the job once I disputed the credit card charges. Then once they finally finished badger me daily until I released the fee (which was only 3 days because I need to go and verify the work)

Out of four proposals they stood out by far. I recommend them highly.

I was very happy with the final result. They did what they said they were going to do.

Hired them to do my roof, stalling on making important corrections. They pushed a vents pipe on my furnace, put plywood and roofing material over that, my furnace doesn't work and they don't want to take responsibility.

while the guys applying the roof were wonderful and very professional the same can not be said for Jim Wilson, the sales rep. I was given misleading and wrong information about the warranty and what was to be covered and done and by the time I found out it was to late.

I would have given customer service 5 stars, but I wasn't given information on the choices that were available and what the differences would be and the different prices. I just thought there was just the one that the consultant mentioned. However, while waiting for the materials to show up on the day of installation, the foreman showed me a wonderful binder with maybe 2" x 1" actual samples of the various "cool roof" shingles and the colors. I feel I would have made a more informed decision with this additional information. The installers were very nice and hard working. They were on time and finished the job in a day and a half. Very pleased with the look of my roof. If you are thinking of getting the "Shasta White" shingle, I saw on some web site that the color was "bright white." It really isn't. It is a beautiful what I would call light, light gray. Definitely not "bright white." I was very pleased with the color. One more thing, and it just may be me, but I read that these shingles since they reflect the sun, that the inside of your home would be somewhat cooler. Especially since I went from a dark shingle to a very light shingle. I'm sorry to say for me, I don't feel any difference. That was the only reason I put the shingles on now since the roof shingles would have been okay for two or three more years at least. But not feeling any cooler in the house is really disappointing. But at least my roof looks really pretty.

I live in the Glendale area. After discovering I had roof damage, I came across Jim Wilson's name. From the very beginning, Jim Wilson was very friendly and professional upon my initial contact. Excellent customer service skills, very good demeanor! His quote was very reasonable, and I decided to have Jim and his team replace my roof. It didn't stop there. Jim was punctual when he & his team arrived on our agreed date and time. He was very efficient and attentive in following up and even meeting his team's needs. He readily answered all my questions, especially to any concerns I had. Jim provided excellent professionalism and high quality work for a very reasonable price. Overall, I was very happy with Jim and would definitely recommend him if you need any work done on your roof!"

they were on time and worked very efficiently. work was accomplished quickly. and they cleaned up everything when they were finished.

My roof wasn't installed properly and was in very poor condition. They did a very good job installing the new roof the way it should have been installed when the house was built.

Take care when you hire this company they do ok work to pass inspection, however when they write on the contract that they will charge you 5 dollars per linear foot for bad wood replacement, you will naturally assume that they will inform you how much bad wood you have before ordering the wood and showing you the delivery invoice at the time of delivery, they did not do any of that, instead the sales person simply said trust me we installed 600 feet and you have to pay it, and when I insisted on the receipt they were able to produce 400 feet and only GOD knows how much wood they actually delivered and installed, I agreed to pay 500 , however I am not at all happy with customer service and I feel cheated out of $500 for the wood.

Contractor is working harf on many projects. I had to request a second coat according to manufacture recco. As soon as I requested it, the work was offered, scheduled, and done.

I had originally rated them 4 stars only because I had not heard back from them with regards to a small damage on my rain gutters and not having them return my calls. It turns out that the contact had to go to the doctor for a back injury. Upon their return, they quickly responded. Send someone out the same day to have the rain gutters fixed. I also received follow up calls and emails. That was very much appreciated. I respect that very much! It is unheard of in this day in age to have great, quick customer service. I would use them again and would refer. As a matter of fact, I am waiting on a quote for another job! Thanks Custom Home Remodeling & Roofing!

From start to finish they made it affordable, easy and made the most proper recommendation on what type of roof would be best for our type of home. Since they are certified with the roofing material supply company, the roof comes with a 50 yr warranty. Amazing!

The job was done in the time they said and was very good. I am very pleased with the job that was completed.

Jim was very professional, fast and pleasant. He was very responsive to all our calls and questions. He explained everything very thoroughly. Material was delivered on day promised; Crew were there when they were expected. They left everything very clean. Two issues: the crew bent our rain gutters in the front of the house. We quickly reported it to Jim. He said a crew member would come out and fix issue. No one has shown up; second; we want our final receipt. Have not received as of yet. We would hate to have a negative disappointing end to such a positive start.
