Herick at Jaime's Upholstery recommended we use the same color leather to get the best results. We agreed and began the process. The leather needed to be ordered and we overlapped into the July fourth holiday, so the chair was ready in approximately three weeks. The chair was brought home and tested. My husband requested that Herick remove some of the padding in the footstool and put more in the armrests. Even with the additional requests Herick was just as pleasant as when we first walked in the door. Okay, so I am really happy because an eye sore is now like a new chair.

I ordered the fabric but it was out of stock so I had to choose a different fabric and Jamie told me it was less expensive. He came and picked the chairs and delivered them back to me and then told me that actually the fabric was not less expensive. I just think I might have been over charged for the fabric. He did a good job but I am a little dissatisfied that I was under the impression that my original price would be less and it was not. I would just do more research about the fabric next time.

We brought in the foam cushions to the shop and Jaime was very helpful in selecting the faux leather fabric for the cushions. He gave us the approximate cost for each set of faux leathers, some being more expensive than others. He explained that it will not crack on us and there have been tests to prove that very thing. His store was fill of all sorts of fabrics, some of which looked very expensive and rich. I thought to myself that I'd like to come back and get my living room sofa's covered someday soon. He said it would take two weeks to cover, but he called several days earlier to tell me they were ready. Both cushions were covered beautifully and very professionally. He helped to put the upholstered cushions in my car. I thought the experience was very professional. He was pleasant and although hispanic, he spoke English very well. He was very accommodating. I have nothing negative to say about Jaime or his business.

Overall it went well and I just thought they did a pretty nice job for a reasonable price. He finished the job when he said he was going to. He is the only guy I have ever used so I don't have anything or anyone to compare them to.
