After the bearing was installed, the technician saw that there were a few other things that needed attention. These were problems that I'd had from day one, since I bought the unit new. After the repairs, my Cabrio washer worked better than new. My house was left clean and the technician was very professional, and best part, on time ( early by a few minutes) to my appointment. Definitely a class act company.

They were the only business that could repair my Viking Range the tech was prompt, very polite and very well trained. Who ever is training these guy are top notch. he asked me if there was anything else and there was. saving me a lot of time and $$ Thank you guys for all you do.

They never provided an estimate and then charged $185 for the conversion.
About $30 was for the parts so $150 for the 1/2 hour repair or $300 per hour.
When I called the lady told me they have basic rates but won't give the customer a quote until the technician can evaluate the situation. In essence, the customer is an idiot and cannot be trusted to know what is wrong with their equipment.
This is the only service company I've used that never gave me a quote before doing the work - which may be against the law.
Additionally, since I was still upset at their charges she said the manager would call me that afternoon. He never called!
I will not do business with these crooks again and will never turn down an opportunity to bad mouth them.

Truly a nice experience considering my machine broke Saturday morning and I was able to book an appointment online for the following Monday. Tom showed up, took the machine apart, showed me the broken parts, went out to his van, installed the new parts and had the machine working immediately. I am grateful that the company sent someone who knew what he was doing, had the parts in his van, and was clean and courteous. Thank you Mr. Appliance.

Service Tech trouble shot dryer very quickly and replaced faulty part within 15 minutes
Receipt showed total job, did not break the labor cost and cost of part.  Would recommend this business detail out the invoice with parts, labor, and call out charge; hence the rating for cost.  I do not know the price of the part, hourly labor, etc.
Also, this business also advertises as J J Appliance in Salinas, as they recently aquired this business from the original proprietor.
Reputation of J J was very good, seems Mr Appliance has continued this reputation.

This business is top notch from start to finish. Firstly, the operator for Mr. Appliance was extremely nice and very helpful. The gentleman who came out to help with our dryer issue was also very nice and knowledgeable. Even though our problem lay with our circuit breaker, the gentleman took the time to show me how to replace the circuit that is faulty and the best place to go to get the part. All in all my wife and I were extremely happy with Mr. Appliance and the extra mile that the technician went to in order for us to get our dryer working to capacity!

Went great. Pplus we learned that HE means LESS significantly detergents (like a tablespoon) is enough and that the older model gaskets are poorly designed since they allow water to pool in the bottom of the gasket and cause mold mildew and a terrible smell. The gasket he put in is still an older model but way easier to clean after each load of wash and the smell is o
gone.

Mr. Appliance charges a $75 service fee to come out and give you an estimate, which is applied to the final cost if you use them for the repair. I did not need a diagnostic visit, because I knew what the problem was. I called and had them order the part, for which they charged my credit card and told me they would contact me to schedule the install when it arrived. A MONTH later I still had not heard anything from them. To give credit, when I called about it the receptionist was very apologetic and had the part expedited to them and was willing to fit the install into their schedule on any time and day that worked for me. She slotted me for an 8-10 window, although I told her I wouldn't be home from dropping my son off at school until 8:15, but she said it wasn't a problem and she would just tell the tech not to come before 8:30. Got home at 8:15 and guess what? Tech had been sitting in front of the house for 15 minutes trying to call me...had not been told anything about 8:30. He was a nice guy, got the repair done in 17 minutes. Problem is, the bill for the REMAINING BALANCE after the part was $136!!! When I asked why so much for a 17 minute repair job, he said it was a flat rate for the repair, and they had deducted the price of the part I prepaid for from the normally $178 cost!
Honestly, I will never use them again. I understand why they might have a high flat rate for something when they are anticipating TWO trips to your house...one to diagnose and one to install the fix. But considering I diagnosed it, preordered the part, and they only made ONE trip to my house to do the quick switch, I think they should adjust the price down. A lot down. Plus, thank goodness I was able to rig a temporary fix or I would have had no washing machine for the month I waited on them.

All dealings with the supplier were fine in terms of ease of contact, timely arrival, and quick and successful repair.
Price of the computer unit was a bit high from our (perhaps archaic) perspective, but this is presumably not the fault of the service company itself.  Very satisfied overall.

Technician was very polite, checked out the 7-year-old dryer inside and the hose to the outside. He said we needed to have a full load for it to work properly, although we hadn't needed a full load in the past. He said we had to use the timed drying method rather than load description. The bottom line is he didn't change anything in terms of fixing the dryer, just provided "instruction." We called again and asked for a different technician but Mr. Appliance told us that original technician was the only one who serviced the Carmel area. He came again and gave the same response to my nephew. We are back at the house now, the dryer still does not work properly. Although the Mr. Appliance people were responsive and nice, they did not fix our dryer - twice (no charge for the second visit), so we consider our transaction with them very unsatisfactory and will try someone else.

Once the technician arrived he was very professional and polite and I am confident he fixed the problem. However, after 7 minutes of work maximum I was billed $151.00. I feel that was expensive given all he did was remove a filter that was clogged with bobby pins. Company responsive to my concern and complaints.
