AJ FURNACE REPAIR CO

Description of Work: My furnace died a few weeks ago. I called the above company (who also goes by AJ Refrigeration, and has phone #'s along the penninsula), and a rep. came out. He opened the cover, and proceeded to tell me that my heat exchangers had blown. Yes, the furnace had a lifetime warranty, but the company had gone out of business due to bankruptcy over a lawsuit. Apparently, one of their furnaces blew up a house. So, the only solution was to buy a new furnace at $3500. The next morning, I called the "out of business company", and found that they were very much alive. The rep. gave me the info I needed to get my furnace fixes. I called back the rep at AJs, and gave him the info so that he could do the warranty work. He called back yesterday, saying that without my original receipt for the furnace, no one could help. Never mind that the furnace maker explicitly stated this was not so. Since then, he won't return calls (to tell him never mind, mind you).
