We provided detail of the work we wanted performed, and they came back with written estimates with options and pricing depending on each option. They kept us informed about time of arrival, and were neat and professional from their appearance down to the work performed. They cleaned up the debris as they performed the work. Due to time and finances, we had them at the house on two occasions. DEFINITELY WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

The problem was located and the repair was performed satisfactory.

I was told the ballast needed to be replaced and it would be cheaper if I purchased a new light and installed it. Now I have the light, but haven’t installed it as electrical work isn’t in my comfort zone. I don’t want to pay another service call for the person to come back. Hopefully I can find someone to help me with installing the light.

Very well. Drube Electric discovered that a rain-damaged outside outlet had shorted out some indoor outlets when it got wet. He replaced the outside box and all was right with the world.

Perfectly. I had used EMP previously and have been very happy with the work, respect, and professionalism. I had had them out to correct an installation of a "new" ceiling fan job that had been done poorly, by someone else, as well as to install two additional rooms with "new" ceiling fans. I now have ceiling fans, in every room of my house, (all of my ceilings are vaulted), and because I DON'T have air conditioning, I use them almost daily, even at night while I'm sleeping, whenever it's still warm. I recommend EMP highly, based on my personal experiences. I also felt that the costs, for the work completed, were reasonable, with the discount through Angie's List. **By the way, the guy(s), Terry and/or Erick, have had to access my attic, both times, where it's incredibly hot, so please make sure some cold water or iced tea, to drink, is available for them.)

Both ceiling fans were installed on the same day.  The contractor and his assistant were both very professional, they kept me well informed of anything that came up and made sure we were all on the same page.  Both men were very nice and good to work with.  Once they saw behind the drywall, there were a few surprises in the wonky construction of my house which made the installation more difficult than anticipated.  Nevertheless, they stayed late to finish the job and did not raise the originally quoted price.  I was told upfront that drywall repair was not included, and where it would be cut would be messy, so I was able to cover my things before they arrived.  The only (very slight) negative would be that they always showed up at the end of the 2-hour window: on the day of the estimate I didn't get a phone call; on the day of the work, I did get a phone call so I at least didn't waste part of my day waiting.  Considering everything, and what they went through with my house, I would recommend them.

He was a bit late as he was held up at the previous job, and he did phone to tell me, but close to the end of the planned window. That said, when he arrived, he could not have been any more professional or useful! He went straight to work after getting my requirements. He worked quickly and was very tidy. 
In terms of the breaker, he found a worn breaker in the panel and showed me the damage. He only suggested that it should be replaced and waited for me to ask for a price. When he went in to remove the breaker, it fell apart in his hands, justifying his concerns. He spotted some pitting on the breaker bus and instead of replacing all the other breakers, as he could have done, he called me out and showed me the damage and told me that the job was far bigger. I had the chance to stop it. He could have just replaced it all and walked away, knowing that I would have to replace it in a few months. I really appreciated his honesty.

Most recently EMP installed three new light fixtures (one inside, two outside) and checked the phone lines for integrity to be sure the new tenants could use the existing jacks.  In the recent past, they replaced two faulty breakers and did a full safety check of the house and garage.

When I 1st called for an estimate they gave it to me over the phone instead of coming out to my house. I expected them to move the lights but the plan changed when he got here. They came out on time and finished quickly. He made many suggestions and helped me to get more light in so that its much brighter, but  I wasn't aware that changing to these new LED bulbs would cause static in all my radios throughout the house.  His helper threw away my other can lights without asking me, and he threw away the boxes for the new LEDs.  I could have exchanged them for another type if I had the boxes.  He wouldn't return to try to solve the problem.  I guess too costly.
