George and Jeff did the work on-time and on-budget and even provided a light fixture at no additional cost. We recommend O'Connor Electric without reservation - they are great!

He figured out the cause and took care of it (replaced the GFI with a newer model that could withstand the harmonics from the old ballast in the fluorescent light on the same circuit. He was punctual, wore shoe covers (had to take them on and off several times when he needed to go to his truck for parts), and cleaned up afterwards. I was told that his minimum charge was $195, so I was not surprised at the bill, though it still seems pretty high (more per hour than I made working as a physician). But, overall, it was worth it.

Came in and went right to work replaced everything in a timely manner. Did a great job. I will definitely call him again when I need any electrical work done in the future.

The experience from my first phone call on a Friday requesting a Wednesday appointment was very professional and yet friendly.  The work was done on time and quickly.

We have two more older fans that need replacing, so when I find the ones I want I will for sure give O'Connor Electric a call to do the job.

George O'Connor did an excellent job in all aspects of the job, exceeding our expectations. My husband and I have worked in the trades and we are very particular about how things should be done - so we are extremely pleased to have found such an excellent electrical contractor. George came to look at the job within 2 business days after our phone call, brought a sample LED fixture, and was very knowledgeable and decisive about the size, number, and location of the lights, which immediately instilled confidence in us. He sent us a written, line-item proposal the following evening and Terry, his wife, was very helpful in explaining that one item was a and quot;not to exceedand quot; cost, to cover any unexpected problems (and there were some problems). She was able to schedule us within a week, since another job had requested a start delay. George began the job by taping up visqueen plastic on the sides and floor of my kitchen for easier cleanup. He found a problem in the wiring and corrected it, even though that took quite a bit of extra time (in a hot attic) and wasn't something he had expected - but he wanted to make things right, which he did. The cleanup was excellent. George is very professional, competent, efficient, and personable as well. Although there were some unexpected problems and additional work, the price remained at the quoted price. We will definitely use him for all future electrical needs.

It went great. He was on-time, had the right type of plugs for each location and was in and finished within an hour. George recommended that we put the GFI in the back yard because the distance from the fuse box to the plug is about thirty feet. The GFI has a switch in it to reset the line if there is a failure. Also it makes the fountain more safe. It works great, and I've only used the reset button maybe twice.

He has upgraded all our electrical boxes (we have two houses, two barns, garage, greenhouse, a pool and a trailer). All our exterior lines were over 30 years old and were shorting out everywhere. He repaired or installed new lines to all our buildings. He trenched a new elec line to our new barn and installed all the lights and outlets. He has checked all our outlets, lights and switches in the houses and repaired or replaced all the broken ones.
Whenever we have had a problem, of which there have been many, we just call Terri (George's wife) and she gets George out to our place in record time. They are the BEST!

What a difference it made, you can now see the true color of my granite counter tops and the light is even in my kitchen. I love them!!! George and his other electrician showed up when they said they were going to be at my house, they wore shoe covers and did a great job cleaning up after they were done. What a professional team.
