Bunio Construction

We first encountered Jim Bunio on the recommendation of our house inspector during our recent move to another house in Granite Bay. Jim first corrected a list of deficiencies listed in the inspector's report, which included the jobs listed in the section above. He worked quickly and efficiently. He is such a hard worker and proved to be so easy to work with, so honestly communicative and so knowledgeable regarding his work that we also hired him to correct a number of deficiencies in our old house before it went on the market, as outlined in the above section. We learned that he has been in construction for a number of years and has worked as a contractor. During the current economic downturn, he is working as a handy man until the economy picks up again. He is very knowledgeable about electrical work, construction, tiling, cement work, plumbing and fence work. We gave him a number of varied tasks, and he was up to speed on all of them. He prides himself in doing quality work and will not cut corners. He is articulate and intelligent with a good sense of humor and communicated our options clearly when performing a given task. We have had him out to our two properties four times to get different problems corrected. He recently finished all the work, and we are keeping him in our list to call first for problems in our home. He is honest and reasonable with his charges, and several times steered us toward a more economical way to handle a problem. I never got the feeling that he was doing unnecessary work for the sake of charging more. I do not believe he would ever do that. Of all the workmen I have ever had in my home, I feel I can trust him more than any of the others. I am introducing him to Angie's list, because I highly recommend him.
