A Wiseman's Home Improvement replaced the windows in my home. I was very pleased with the overall process and the final results. The installer Anthony clearly has years of experience and his meticulous attention to detail was evident start to finish. Ryan bid the job and set expectations which were met to my satisfaction. The quote was fair and the workmanship excellent. The windows are beautiful and I could not be more pleased having selected this company to do the work.
Ryan and his assistant Ron showed up promptly on the date agreed and started to tear up the old bathroom (59 yrs old). They proceed with full speed, with minimum breaks. Phil assisted us in selecting the tiles for shower, advised us on floor samples and countertops.
After tub was in and the gorgeous italian shone tiles lined the shower wall we knew the results will be what we wanted, paint, new toilet, vanity and linen closet and new floor sealed the deal. I have to say that Ryan is a person who does not waste time, does every detail perfectly and both Phil and Ryan are very pleasant to deal with.
After the bath was finished Ryan started with kitchen, got new countertops in, new back splash, and new floor.
Results of these remodeling are wonderful. We are very please with the work performed, not sloppy but done with perfection.
We highly recommend Ryan and Phil as reliable construction business.
"Hello [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your review. In looking at our bid process, it appears we have not supplied you with an actual written bid, scope of work, or pricing, just an initial consultation. If you would like to continue the process we would be happy to complete a formal bid. If you do not want to finish the process, we feel we have not done enough to charge you for our services & would like to offer you a refund. Please feel free to contact us at 916-832-4110. Kind regards, Phil Nanni"
I contacted Wiseman Home Improvement via the link on Angie's list in early December. I was contacted via e-mail the next Monday, with a follow up phone contact within one week. Their representative, Phil Nanni, met with me shortly thereafter and gave me a bid of $6,999 for a complete remodel, including new toilet, vanity, tub, tile, flooring, and paint. The bid did not include replacing of floor joints if needed. I was advised that they were about 7 weeks out and accepted the bid for an expected late January commencement of work.
I was contacted by Phil in mid-January and advised that they could begin January 13th, if I had all the fixtures ordered. Phil was extremely patient with me as I am on a budget, and had never had the time or funds to remodel any part of my 1939 home. I wanted to maintain the vintage look of the bathroom, which at that time was green ceramic floor tiling, and a bad redo of what had been vintage pink tiles on the shower walls. I know that the trend is all to earth tones, but he was accepting that I wanted a vintage look. He also assured me that he would not permit me to make horrendous choices and have it end up looking like a gas station bathroom with all the tile I wanted. He met me at the tile store and the major decisions were made re: tile: 4x4 inch white tiles, with cobalt blue lines in the shower and along some of the walls. Mosaic white tile on the floor, with occasional cobalt small squares.
Work began on January 13th and was completed by January 20th. This is the only bathroom in our home, and they were able to put the toilet back in for all but one night. First Ryan Wiseman and his assistant Ron tore everything out, lots of noise and dust and they worked very fast. They found, as I feared, dry rot, rotten floor joists, and dead rats. They replaced all of the wall studs that were rotten, and repaired the floor. They stayed on schedule; at the end of the first day, the subfloor was in. Next day they put the tub in and the rough plumbing. The next day came Mike, the genius tile guy. He was amazing. He finished up his work late Saturday. On Monday, Ron and Ryan returned to texture the walls, and the plumber Duane did his work on the shower plumbing. On Tuesday they painted and on Wednesday, Attilla finished up with hanging the medicine cabinet and installing the vanity. Lots of challenges, but they cheerfully worked through all of them.
Cognizant of my budget, they stayed within the bid, reminding me of the estimates of various fixtures in the original bid. The only variance was an additional $400 for the repair of the floor, and extra tile work I requested. The final damage was $7,800.
I was very pleased with the craftsmen who came into my home, the adherence to promised timelines, and the outcome. It is beautiful and has the look that I wanted.
