You will also note that it clearly states that for a home of your size we normally would expect it to take about 7 man hours to complete but you had purchased only 4. For the size of your home 2,084 sq f being in normal condition we recommend approximately 7 hrs if the whole house has to be cleaned ( please, see notes below if time limit was requested for this job). You mentioned that you would like to Whole house be cleaned. You have pre paid for four (4) hours of cleaning through Angie's list. "Thank you [Member name removed] for your feedback we are sorry that you are not happy with the end result, although we are not sure if it is the price or the quality that you are not happy with. We had a 4 hour limit and within that time a lot was requested: remove grease from kitchen cabinets, organize linen closet, dishes unload and load, change linens, vacuum under couch cushions, cleaned fridge/microwave inside and out, coffee maker, all baseboards and an overall very detailed cleaning throughout the home. Your scored C on the quality but no specific comments were made in regards to that scoring, we did what was requested within the time that was given. Our pricing is based off an hourly rate. from the remodeling. Because I was not there to supervise, the cleaning person did not do a decent job cleaning the empty house. I will not use Spotless Maid again.
"We are sorry you are not happy but on the given circumstances we did our best. First of all you pre-paid for only 4 hours of cleaning, which we told you up front was likely not enough for a vacant home cleaning. Second of all when we spoke to you, you said the priorities are the bathrooms and the kitchen including removing the shelf and drawer liners, which is very time consuming. Then you added the windows inside and out on a two story condo and we told you we are not equipped to get the outside windows. You had told us not to touch the walls due to them being freshly painted. We had 4 hour limit followed your priorities and with all additional request you had we did what we could within the allowed time. "We are sorry that you feel we are average, but based on your review seems like you have no problem with quality of work. Your complaint is more about one person being sent to clean your home. This has been a company policy for over 2 1/2 years which we were up front with from the beginning when it changed. Based on your pricing the cleaning associate should be spending anywhere from 4-4 1/2 hours, and your concern about cleaning time was addressed to your cleaning associate."

"(member name removed) , you home is almost 1400 sq ft and you limited our time to 2 hours. As we explained your home cleaning in normal condition should usually take at least 3 hours. You told us to give priority to the floors which is what our cleaner did. As you know we charge for the time spent not a specific amount of cleaning. Sorry this did not work out for you."
The areas cleaned smelled good and looked clean but I am disappointed about the areas not touched when there was enough time to complete the tasks.
I will say I was 20 minutes late getting there, and the cleaner did wait around. I wish she had just had left and been charged for a late fee or no show fee. The bedroom window was not cleaned, the base boards were not cleaned, I checked the kitchen cabinets and it looked as if she just took the linings out and through them away. I checked the oven range cabinet and she did not clean it. There was food particles still left in there, and it was dirty on the inside, the floors were not done, there is a film left on the laminate floors, and the kitchen floor does not appear to be mopped. It just look like she cleaned the area where the refrigerator was and that was it. I asked her to clean the AC floor vent, was not done.
I felt like I should have been there to micromanage, she did not call me to let me know that she was nearing her finish time, so that I could have come by to check it out and could have addressed my concerns, I met her to let her in and that was the last I heard from her. She says that she spent 4 hours working, but I just don't belive it. She could have had a bad day as we all are entitled to one bad day here or there. I chose this company based on their reviews, which is why this is very shocking to me. The company did try to rectify it by sending her back out for additional cleaning but would have to charge for that, and was willing to waive the normal 2 hour minimum in the case that the job took one hour. First impressions are everything to me and it just wasn't worth me spending another penny.
"[member name removed], sorry this did not happen the way you would like. We do charge hourly so your charges were based on time not amount of cleaning. Tracy was there four hours and was under the impression that was a limit. We are more than happy to return and complete additional cleaning to your specs but would have to charge for that additional time. We would waive the normal two hour minimum in this case so if an hour or so more would do the job we can set that up. The Cleaning Associate has been with us for a couple of years and normally gets great feedback from the customers she serves so I know she is productive with her time."
