TEMPERATURE EQUIPMENT

I have been a loyal customer of Temperature Equipment for several years now. Their service person, Kevin, is OUTSTANDING. Polite, knowledgeable, a teacher, competent, and, above all, honest. Several years ago, we used Mediterranean to service our AC/Heat. At one inspection they told me that I needed a complete replacement after showing me a photo of my cracked heat exchanger. After a 3rd person arrived and asked for $12,000, I asked them to leave and called Temperature Equipment. Kevin came the next day and told me my unit was in perfect order! Whew. We just had a problem with our heating. Kevin came, diagnosed, replaced a transformer. Done. A pleasure.

The service was perfect, the technicians was very professional and courteous, they got the job done on time and showed up on time also.

They seemed fine and I don’t have any complaints.  He knew what the problem was and he had the part on his truck.  There were two brands but he suggested the cheaper one because they do the same thing.  They were a little late but they called and told me.  I didn’t get other estimates so I don’t know if the price is fair.

This company is fabulous! If you want a company that takes pride in their work, this company is the one you should use. They needed to get a crane to bring up the new unit and take down the old unit. They said they would be there at 8:30 am and they were on time with the crane all set up by the time they rang my door! They came and put tarps down to protect my flooring which I very much appreciated. The old systems was put in by the builder and wasn't put in with a great deal of care. After having removed the old system in a tight closet, they had to drill through to the roof to install a larger copper pipe so that the system could run more efficiently. They made sure that the hole was properly sealed on the roof to assure no leaks in the future. They made a new casing where the new unit would be placed onto out of metal, they rewired for the new thermostat, they sound baffled the area where the air comes into the system before it goes throught this amazing honeywell filter, they secured the system on the roof and properly charged the system both for the cooling feature and heating feature. The workers were extremely professional, courteous, respectful and meticulous with their work. My old system was 19 years old and made noise when it was working but now the new system is so quiet and effecient! WIth the old system, it looked like someone had randomly shoved things in the closet, pipes were going in all sorts of directions. I now find myself opening the closet to look at the new Carrier high efficiency heat pump because it looks so clean and organized. This was a major purchase for me and I can't express enough how they made the entire process a total delight. This has been one of the best experiences with a service company I have ever had in my entire life. Of the three companies I had come and give me an estimate, this is the only company that insisted on getting a permit to make sure the work was done properly. The city inspector then comes and reviews the work to make sure it was installed properly. This to me meant that this company stands behind their work and wants things to be done properly.

The tech was very polite and friendly and didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary. The tech showed up at 8:15 am. The only thing slightly negative thing I have to say about the their service is that they gave me a fairly large appointment window, (I called several days in advance, in Jan.) from 8am - 12pm. Overall I was pleased with the experience.

TEC BID ON THIS JOB A YEAR AGO AND RECENTLY UPDATED THE BID--REFERRED BY MY CONTRACTOR. ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS THOROUGHLY, CAME AT APPOINTED HOUR TO MEASURE AND THEN DID THE WORK--PROFESSIONAL, NICE, TIDY. BID WAS MUCH LOWER THAN THE OTHERS I GOT. DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

I REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH THE OWNER, HE WAS A GREAT PERSON, HE AND HIS WORKERS WORKED FAST AND DID GREAT QUALITY WORK. THEY CLEANED UP GREAT AFTER EACH DAY OF WORK.

THEY WORKED FAST AND FINISHED THE JOB WHEN THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD. THEY PUT IN GREAT A/C AND HEATING UNITS, IT GIVES US GREAT HEAT AND AIR CONDITIONING.
