They were very good. They were very efficient and timely. I'm very happy with the service.

I was able to reach Chris (the owner) by phone right away. He came out (promptly - in fact, he was 20 minutes early) to give me an estimate. We set up a service appointment. His two workers were very prompt, professional, and quick. They finished the entire job in two hours and cleaned up after themselves. The shower, sinks, granite and marble all look beautiful.

Everything went well. Chris came on time with his workers and he then came back and checked the job. I am very happy with the results.

Chris showed up on time for the estimate and was very knowledgeable and helpful in providing me answers to some of the sealing questions I had about the tile and brick that I recently had installed by another contractor. He gave me a written estimate on the spot, and we were able to book an appointment fairly quickly given his booked schedule. Due to weather we had to reschedule, but on the rescheduled date of the work Chris' crew showed up on time. Chris also showed up to re-confirm the specifics of the job, and then his crew finished everything in one day. The work his company did on our brick looks amazing, and has made a marked improvement on the look of our brick pathway, driveway and firepit. His crew also cleaned and buffed (there's a more technical term, but I've forgotten it) and grouted some very expensive outdoor cement tile that had been sitting out exposed for several months. They look like new now!

Every Job that Chris and his team has done for me over the years has been excellent. If something wasn't quite done to my specifications, Chris would rectify right away. Marble & Stonelife are an A+ in my book.

The original bullnose to my granite countertop broke off and fell into pieces. I contacted Marble and Stonelife, they came out and were able to piece together and repair the counter. They identified a defect from the original contractor and made the repair. They also repaired and sealed the stone ground surfaces. Everything looked great; better than the original. The entire process was a pleasure from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again....

Service and quality of work was fantastic!

Chris was very professional, well-skilled, and on time. He made a chip in my beautiful granite bar counter-top "disappear"! He also removed some residue that I wasn't sure could be removed, and cleaned and sealed the granite. He also re-grouted and cleaned and sealed my granite kitchen counter-top. It looks "brand new." Now, my granite looks beautiful again, and will resist water spots, etc., for the next 3 years! I highly recommend Chris and his company, "Marble & Stonelife."

The technician arrived on time and was very friendly and informative of the process that was recommended for the areas in our home. He did a wonderful job explaining the finishes and various areas that needed to be addressed. I was very happy with our meeting and the estimate provided.

I have a large outdoor travertine terrace that had many cracked tiles, missing grout and needed to be resealed. Chris was able to repair or replace the broken stones, buff it all down to match, replace grout that was missing, and resealed. My terrace looks brand new. He was on time for each appointment, cleaned up after they were done, and very professional. I will need to reseal every few years and will definitely use him again for that work.

They were great and Chris was able to accommodate a schedule change. They arrived on time and did a great job.

I used Marble and Stonelife because of favorable Angie's List reviews and was not disappointed. Chris Chai is really into stone. It shows in the pride he takes in his work. Chris and his helper cleaned, polished and resealed our granite kitchen counters, replaced the caulking that was done incorrectly with grout. He was able to remove most of the surface scratches but could not get all of them out due to our neglect on our part. Granite was installed in 2003 and we've done absolutely nothing since then. He also removed stains and scratches from a marble bathroom vanity that we've also neglected. We have a 1929 stone tile floor in one bathroom and he was able to clean it and seal it. We also had him test worn tile in another bathroom. Although he couldn't restore the damaged tile, he was able to demonstrate that it would be much cleaner once he works on it. We intend to have him come back and do that work. His prices are very reasonable and he gives Angie's List members a discount. I highly recommend Chris. As long as we have the counters and he stays in business, we intend to have him come back on an annual basis and polish and seal our counters.

Chris came over to clean, seal and do a minor repair on my kitchen counters. Upon arriving, he told me my counters were Caesarstone and the little chips in it would be hard, if not impossible to repair. Instead, he offered to blend in the chips as best as he could, and did a really wonderful job. He also removed the caulking around the stone and applied a matching grout. Everything looks fantastic. Chris was professional and very helpful throughout the process... and also convinced me to go with a natural stone for any of my future kitchen projects. I'd use Chris again without hesitation, and I am very happy I found him here on Angie's List.

. Chris was very prompt in contacting me & coming by to provide a quote for the work. He was courteous & professional as were his co-workers. I reached out to Chris after the job regarding a concern. He contacted immediately, came over the same day and made needed adjustments. I would not hesitant to use Chris & his team again.

Chris and his team came early and were very professional. The floors were dingy and now are bright. The counters look good too. They used multiple fans to speed the drying of the sealer so we did not have to avoid walking on the floors for too long. They were clearly experiences and cared about the quality of their work.

Chris was did a thorough estimate and was upfront will costs before being hired. He and his crew were punctual and completed all work on time. Our bathrooms, kitchen granite and terrazzo floor all look much better. Chris did a walk through with my wife and I, after they finished, and made sure we were happy with the work done.

I'm taking the time to review (even though I have two kids under the age of 3 and have my hands full! at the moment!) because the service we had was so great. They took out and redid the grout on the kitchen counter, fixed the loose grout in our powder room and the main work was in our master bathroom. There was rusty and musty looking buildup even though we had it as clean as possible that went to the right and left of our glass shower door. We were even getting little bugs growing in the cracks of the tile and with the cleaning, patching and new grout it is a different place to be now! My husband and I are thrilled with the work. Last thing, Chris used the other bathroom that I hadn't shown him yet at the end of the job and he saw a few problems that I hand't before and he took it upon himself to fix that for no extra charge. I'm glad I asked him to use that bathroom instead of the other ones he had worked on because his keen eye saw a few problems that I hadn't.

Chris called early in the morning of the job to confirm he was coming over. He performed the following activities: Washed and cleaned off the patio area. After all was dried, applied 4 coats of sealer. All was done and completed in the same day. He left product so I could do any touch up during the year and provided a 6 month guarantee for the sealing. There was no mess and the patio looked as good as when it was poured June of last year. Would "highly" recommend this company to do any coating and sealing of contrete areas.

I found Chris on Angie's List and called him last week. He said he would come out today and look at my cracked granite. He showed up on time, looked at the problem, told me what he could do to fix it, AND fixed it. I did not expect him to do the job immediately, but was delighted when he did. While he was at our home, my wife asked him about some holes in our travertine floor; Chris fixed those also at no additional charge. This guy is great. He is honest, explains what he can and cannot do, and does excellent work.

Chris was really terrific. His work was very good. He showed up on time and was very pleasant. They cleaned up perfectly. At all times they were careful and tried not to make any mess.

Went well. Showed up on time. Granite restoration was performed rapidly and well. Diamond honing/stripping, penetratng sealer was placed, was cleaned.

Worst experience ever. After cancelling our initial appointment because someone broke in their truck and stole all of their equipment the crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. I had to work that day so I left for work and did not witness what they (3 person team) did. When I got home I was very disappointed. My floor looked liked it had been mopped only. There were several areas that were white/gray. The grout wasn't repaired as discussed and there was NO shine to my floor at all. On top of that we left only two pieces of furniture that we couldn't move and they didn't even move those. They just mopped around them. My contract states that they were going to degrease/strip old finish, condition and seal with highgloss sealer. Well it looked like they forgot the last two steps. My floor is dull...again with white/gray spots. I can say my floor looked much better before Marble & Stonelife touched it. Chris, the owner, also told me that he would fill in areas that were missing grout, which they did in some areas but not all. The following Monday, 4/21/14 I called Chris and told him I was very unhappy. Explained what the floor looked like and he said he'd be back that Thursday, 4/24/14 to fix it. To this day, I haven't heard from him. Didn't show up and didn't call. Very disappointed...would not recommend. If I had the time I'd take them to small claims court. Not a man of your word. You NEVER told me you were on a hotel lobby job. You told me that you would be at my home on 4/24 to fix my floor and I still have not heard from you. At this point, I DO NOT want to do business with you.
