From my initial phone call to the actual work, Vardan and his crew are top rate. They are honest, understanding, and willing to work with you and for you. I received a complete, professional estimate to replace my a/c unit. While another company said they could try and repair, Vardan was honest enough to say that the repair was a waste of money and he wouldn't take my money for it, only to have it fail again in the near future. Once the decision to replace had been made, Vardan worked miracles to get my new unit installed within a couple of days. His technicians were prompt, professional, and explained what was happening. Because of the cost of replacing an a/c unit, I needed financial help from my parents. Vardan was completely understanding of the process and timing that mailing a check from the Midwest posed and didn't hold up finishing the work because of it. I have used Vardan and HVAControl in the past and will continue to use them for all my a/c and heating needs.

From start to finish, Vardan was extremely professional.  He kept the job site clean and neat.  The work was done to exceed my standards.  As a licensed General Contractor myself, I was extremely impressed.  I used him on my own home as I had to fire my previous HVAC contractor.  I will continue to use him on future projects as a sub contractor on remodeling projects.  Side note, most clients do not like it when a contractor comes in to their home with a lot of cologne and prefer none at all.  He did not wear any, lol which is another big plus to me and my business. Vardan is also easy on the eyes :-)

We've used HVA three times in recent years and will use them again anytime we have an AC or heating issue. Bottom line - this company is a pleasure to work with. They always come out the same day we call, get the job done, charge a fair price and are honest.

Here's the lengthy version: I bought my townhouse about 5 years ago and the central air unit didn't
work AT ALL. It wouldn't even turn on. I called HVAControl because they
had great reviews on yelp and they arrived for the appointment on time,
they were friendly, etc. etc. After looking at the unit they told me
there was no freon in it. I was relieved that that the issue was only
going to cost me a couple hundred dollars to fix so I had them go ahead
and fill it up. Over the next couple of days, I realized that my house
was not cooling down. The air conditioning would kick on, but it would
just constantly run for days and days and would only shave off about 10
degrees. In 100+ degree weather, I was still sweating in my home with
the air on, which clearly meant there was still an issue. When I called
HVAControl again, they came right out, tested the air blowing out of the
vent, which was cool, and told me that the unit I had was not large
enough for my townhouse. It's about 1,100 sf so it's not huge. They told
me that I would need to get a SECOND unit and zone the house to have
one unit for the upstairs and one unit for the downstairs. They said the
whole thing was going to cost about 2k. I really couldn't afford that
at the time since I just purchased the house (it was a bit of a fixer
upper), so fast forward a few years and I'm totally over suffering
through this heat. I called HVAControl again and said that I was ready
to do this! He came out to look at it and this time told me that the
condenser was broken and the entire unit should be replaced because it
was old anyway (the condenser wasn't much cheaper than a whole new unit)
so now he quoted me $3,300. I told him I would think about it and call
him the next day. When we talked the following day I told him that I was
concerned about replacing the unit because what if I pay all this money
to get it fixed and it's STILL not big enough to cool my house down
(mind you, that's what the issue was a couple years ago). He told me
that he doesn't remember what he said a couple years ago, but the
condenser is the issue now. I didn't really like or appreciate the way
he was talking to me (he was getting a little snippy because i wanted
him to guarantee that my place would cool down after i pay 3k+, which he
wouldn't do) so I decided to get a second opinion. I called Air Supply
Inc (which I HIGHLY recommend and will give them a rave review right
after this). They charge $89 for a diagnostic, which I didn't like, but
said "ok". When they came out I didn't tell them ANYTHING about my
previous experience because I wanted to hear what they had to say. They
crawled through the attic to look at the unit from the inside and
crawled on the roof to look at it from the outside. They came back
saying that it needed freon. WHAT?!? At this point I tell them the whole
story with the freon, condenser, zoning, yadda yadda, to which they
reply with a few different options as far as some of the inner mechanics
that may be stopping it from blowing cold air as forcefully as maybe it
should be. But in his honest, professional opinion, it was the freon.
He said that if you don't fill it up right, the pressure wont be
correct, which would make the unit not work properly. He also said that
there was more than likely a leak somewhere. Well he found the leak in
the valve (the protective cap was off = hello red flag!) and filled it
with freon correctly. While he was on the roof still fixing it, i could
feel the cold air starting to come in - FOR THE FIRST TIME! Oh I was so
ready to do cartwheels! When he came in, I asked him flat out - "is
there ANYTHING wrong with the condenser?" and he told me "no". It's a
little dirty from being on the roof, which is normal, but it works just
fine. He said that the HVAControl guys were probably just being VERY
dishonest. I'm relieved that $344 later, my unit is finally working.

Given it was a rental property and I wasn't going to be there personally, was nervous what their diagnosis would be and what they would claim needed to be repaired. Instead, it was simple and straightforward, the repair was smooth, reasonably priced. These guys are professionals and trustworthy. If I had shopped around, maybe I would have found someone who may have charged me a bit less, but it would not have been worth that hassle. I respect professionals who do a good job and charge fair and reasonable, and thats what these guys are.

My A/C decided to stop working while my husband was away on business and in the middle of a heatwave.  I called HVAC due to reviews I read about them elsewhere and they were great.  On time, reliable, responsive, and honest! I phoned in the morning and they came out that afternoon to assess the problem and returned in the early evening with the part to fix my A/C.  What a relief!  Vardan, who I think is the owner, was my hero!
