The installation was excellent & was faster than estimated!  The REAL problem was the material.  This contractor INSISTED on using Shaw brand, & I had only heard of them for carpet.  The cost was bordering on outrageous & looking back I should have at least chosen engineered hardwood, if not hardwood....
I have had high-end laminate in the past (Wilson Art) for a MUCH better price/warranty/quality.  Within weeks there was water damage (from an undetected puddle!!!!) that the company had to pay to repair.  Since then (horrible warranty) there have been superficial scratches & deep ones (color/grain--gone!) & an area that "stuck" to a heavy buffet & none are covered for repair!!!  The quality of the laminate is below even the cheapest Pergo!!!
The fact that this contractor was "in bed" with Shaw, made the whole thing a MESS!  Cannot recommend him because of the materials!

Brett Travis was prompt for all appointments and consultations and was always available for questions.  He was professional and out-bid four other flooring contractors I contacted.  He helped me choose the flooring and thoroughly went through the process with me step by step.  His installers were top-notch.  They were prompt and did a terrific job.  What's more, they cleaned up after the job was done, which was greatly appreciated. The price I was quoted was the "exact" price I paid.  I would highly recommend this contractor.

Very easy to work with.  Much better price than others.  Didn't give me more or less than I asked for.   The Price was right.  The service was friendly. The floor job was terrific, and was finished on schedule.    I'd use Brett's services again in a heartbeat.

Excellent work!  Very responsive and immediate follow up.  Met my very tight schedule to get the job completed. Brett personally followed up on each project to be sure I was happy with the work.

We cannot say enough how happy we are with the professionalism and work that was done on our home.  First, Brett contacted me and was patient with all my questions and concerns.  At no time did I feel frustration that I was being "pressured" into anything with him.  He came to our house and took accurate measurements and was very knowledgeable about his products and how to  get an appropriate square footage count without a lot of left overs.  He brought samples that exactly matched the requests of colors that we had in mind.  On top of all that, he's just a very nice guy and easy to deal with.
The crew arrived exactly on time on the day as promised, worked for two solid days and finished the job completely along with a very nice clean up afterwards.  We had laminate floors installed along with carpeting on the stairs.  We both have full time jobs and don't have the time to chase after people to find out when and if they are going to show up on time.  It was great not having to expend any energies this way.   Brett took care of that for us and the crew that he had was very polite and professional too.  We loved not having to deal with petty details when our life styles are so busy these days.  it was great working with a true American business and it's the way I will go in the future.
Yes, yes, yes. We would definitely go to Brett with our flooring needs in the future.

A big team came in and took care of things pretty quickly.  My direct contacts were fantastic, responsive, and provided great advice, guidance and suggestions.

Brett arrived as scheduled for an estimate, and I explained the situation and all the possible issues. He provided lots of ideas and options, even offering to try procuring a matching laminate to our living areas. He called a few days later to say that the sample didn't match ours, but he had lots of similar ones, so he dropped off a stack of samples for us to consider. We selected one, chose him for the job, then he came with a crew the next week in the early evening, who did the job efficiently and beautifully within 3 or 4 hours. The new flooring looks great, and we are completely satisfied! Brett was fully professional and low pressure, and his crew was well trained and excellent. I would definitely hire Carlton's again and recommend them to anyone needing to replace any flooring.

From first contact, Brett was wonderful. He went out of his way to help me find the exact carpeting I wanted. Brett and Joe (the installer) showed up on time with their workers, explained what they were doing when asked, completed and cleaned up the job as promised. I was and am very pleased with the entire experience.
