ADD-TEL Wire Systems

Dave was very prompt in his response when I first reached out. We set a time for the service and Dave showed up on time and got to work trying to troubleshoot a rather complicated situation. What seemed like an "all is lost" scenario, Dave was able to solve after deep diving into the complicated wiring in my home. Dave completed the work in a timely manner, had a great disposition, and we are back up and running at home. He even reached out the following day to check that everything was working okay. Highly recommend.

I was very happy with the service. It was mostly troubleshooting of some very old wiring through a telephone system with many lines. There was never a complaint. As he faced a roadblock he moved on until the problem was solved. I was told by others familiar with the system that it could not be fixed and needed to be updated. I am very pleased with ADD-Tel and would look forward to future projects

Honesty + Expertise, what more could you want ?!

Mr. Dave Normington came by on August 29 for an assessment, and again on September 4th to effect repairs. He arrived on time both days. Mr. Normington was professional, friendly, and diligent. He charged $75.00 / hour plus materials. He ran CAT5e cable for the internet and also relocated old telephone wires that ran on exterior walls under the house to protect them from the elements. He created a junction box in the basement. He also changed out a number of old telephone jacks that no longer worked. He extended the wi-fi to the front of the house running cable under the home.

Dave could not have been nicer. He showed up earlier than he said he would, and was was polite, friendly and professional. He was conscientious about not wanting to make a mess and cleaning up after himself, and when the cable wire provided by Time Warner was a little too short for the modem/router to be placed on top of an adjacent file cabinet, he went to his truck and got a reel of cable wire and cut another one that fit perfectly.

I called and left a message for Dave which he promptly returned. He was able to accommodate my work schedule and come out the next morning. I explained that I had issues with internet service disruptions for the past year and a half. I had previously been calling the service provider who had sent out technicians on several occassions but were never able to identify and resolve the issues.
Dave was able to quickly identify that the phone line had been split which was causing the problem. He quickly replaced the line and the phone jack and my internet has been working perfectly ever since.
I had called two other service providers before Dave due to their location. One had a message stating he was not currently working, and the other never called me back after two messages. Dave will be my first call the next time!

Dave returned my phone call almost immediately even though I called close to 8PM. He arrived the next day, on time. He was able to find and fix the problem. My house has over 15 phone jacks and none of them had a dial tone. He was able to get them all working at a more than reasonable price. I will call Dave if I ever have another phone problem. Thanks!

Very well. He rewired our office using the existing Jacks - very neatly done.

Called, signed up for Angies list..found two repairment. Like Dave's prompt response in calling me. He's courteous, quick and very knowledgable about our problem. On the phone he suggested a troubleshoot solution, didn't work so we made appointment, was on schedule, in 15 minutes he had the problem figured out, repaired the wires, our phones were up and working! He's friendly, professional and personable. Clean and neat person, equipment/truck was orderly, all the tools he needed were neatly packed just like telephone co. repairmen. I would recommend him to anyone for his expertise and quality of work. AND, his price is very reasonable, almost exactly as he estimated. Very satisfied.

Good response and follow up from Dave

As explained last time great the first time and totally unprofessional the next.

Although he arrived late, Dave performed professionally and effectively. He was thorough in going under the foundation to unwind the Cat 5 PVC cable, connecting the ethernet line to the wireless gateway, and testing it.

Dave was very nice when we called him and he and had us do some of our own troubleshooting before our appointment so that he could pinpoint the trouble quicker. He was punctual (early, even!), professional and friendly. He certainly "knew his stuff" - he was an expert. I felt confident that he'd fix the problem swiftly - and he did! By process of elimination, he found the bad wire and restored our dial tone. I would certainly hire him again!

The process was unusually complicated because of problems with my computers. He handled everything from the wiring to talking to the technical desk at Linksys. It was obvious that he knew what he was doing. Another plus was that he was comfortable to have in my home. I would unconditionally recommend him to a friend. He was far more than just another phone wiring tech.

He was a little late, but called. He went right to the source and was pleasant and business like. I would go out of my way to track him down.

It took him about 30 minutes to install them. He did show up on time. In order to install the outlets, he had to crawl under the house. I give him an A plus just for having to do that. I thought the price was very reasonable as well.

Dave is a great guy. He is very personable and works quickly, which is appreciated since his fee is an hourly rate. He explained what he was doing and was wrapped up within 30-40 minutes of arrival.

Dave was very courteous and friendly. He called ahead of time to let us know that he was on the way and performed his work with professionalism. He showed up later than the scheduled time, but he did call to let us know he was running late due to traffic.
