With 30 years experience in Santa Barbara I specialize in Kitchen Remodels, Cabinet Installations, Deck Building , and Door /Window Installations plus any type of Custom Carpentry….Projects where attention to detail and great carpentry is needed. We originally found Mark ten years ago through the service directory in our local paper. We were doing a major remodeling project that I designed, the work being performed by members of our family (including me) and subs that I hired. Mark is a highly skilled carpenter and we hired him to do the finish carpentry in our 1920's style remodel, including mouldings, window sills, trims, and adjustment and installation of over 20 vintage doors that I had bought from an architectural salvage dealer. Mark stood out as the most pleasant contractor with whom we had the opportunity to work.
When the time came to finish our remodeling project, the choice was clear who would be hired to do the carpentry. Mark is very intelligent, professional, congenial, and honest. Being female and somewhat non-traditional in my interest in construction work, I am accustomed to less than respectful attitudes when I involve myself in the project. Working with Mark, on the other hand, has been effortless.
Mark is very knowledgeable in all areas of construction and has great communication skills. He instantly visualizes several solutions to a problem and presents them-allowing the homeowner to make the decision. Mark's skill and intelligence enables him to get the job done many times more quickly than would be expected (especially in the case of the vintage door installation!).
Our kitchen cabinets turned out beautifully. Now I wish I could decide on the tile so we could finish the project!
