They did a great job, Ed is the owner and he was really good, he came out after all the work was done and he showed me how to do the heating system. He would also come in while the work was being done. The outstanding thing about this was that the boss was clearly involved and knew what was going on.
I gave a copy of all the actual estimates to every contractor and allowed them to see what the others were quoting. In speaking with the other contractors, not one disagreed with his assessment and they felt the price was fair. I then compared the quotes based on the capacity and efficency and went to see one of NES's installs. After doing so, I picked them and I am glad I did. So much that I encouraged my neighbor to consider using them and 1 week after mine went in, NES was back next door and installing the same system in my neighbor's home.
The installers are just plain good! They know what they are doing, they show up on time, they keep things clean while they are there and they leave the job site spotless when they leave every day, not just went they are completely done. They did the job fast and explained the new equipment very well.
The job was done on time, for the agreed price and right the first time. As I have read, the installation of the system is the most critical part and NES was well aware of my concerns about that. After the install, I had a contractor friend look at the job they did and he was very complimentary. He looked for common short cuts and install problems and didn't find one.
