John Watson was so kind.  I called his office as soon as I noticed that the outlet was not working and my refrigerator was also out.  It was around 3:30 pm on a Friday afternoon when I left him the message. He had done work for me before so I was confident he would call me back as soon as he could.  He returned my call within an hour or so even though I later learned he was on vacation. He had his men at my home within the half hour. 
On 8/19/2014 I had to call him again because I was having "almost" the same problem.  On the second visit  Chris and Richie were at my home a little before the scheduled appointment time.  They checked everything.  They were in the attic and under the house.  They check every outlet and light switch in the house.  They answered all my questions and showed me what was causing  the problem.  It was a giant puzzle but they followed all the wires until (after many hours) they found the problem.  I would hire them again.  They are honest, prompt and very hard working.  Thank you John, Chris and Richie.

He put in a new breaker box and then he had to upgrade a bunch of wiring because the old breaker box, a couple of years ago we had an addition put on the house and we needed to upgrade the resistance of the breakers you might say, so it would carry more current without tripping. I was really super happy with him. He was prompt. He produced an estimate that he was able to bring the work in at. He explained to me in enormous detail what was going on. He and this young guy he has working for him did all of the work. I work at home so I was here all the time, or most of the time that they were here. They both seemed to be very, very good at their job. They were able to answer all  of my questions. He took care of all the permitting and dealt with all of the inspectors for us. When he finished everything looks great, everything works fine. He is my electrician now. If I have any other problems I will call him. I can't think of anything with which I was not satisfied or any point in time in which I had to encourage him to get things done in a timely fashion or anything like that. A couple of nights they were here until 7:30 - 8:00. I would recommend them to other people as well.

The lights in my house have been flickering for a week. I left a message on his phone, He returned my call and arrived at my house around 10:30 am that day. He and his helper, checked the breaker boxes and went into the attic to check the wiring. He showed me how the power was fluctuating from the power line. He called the Pasadena power department and explained to them that the problem was caused by the power coming into the house.    The power was fixed that afternoon.    He later called that evening to check if the power company had come out and fixed the problem.

We were selling a house in La Verne and just before closing escrow the buyer pointed out that we needed to have an additional outlet put in the garage. Two different electricians promised to come and didn't show at all. I found John's number and he graciously agreed to go to the house, without my being there, did a terrific job on the outlet and billed me via email. I appreciated that he fit me into his schedule, did the work as promised and was willing to trust me, sight unseen. Another electrician had quoted me $400 to "ground" the pool filter wiring as well. John had planned on doing that work and when he got there realized it didn't need to be done, since all the parts were plastic and enclosed in one space. He was honest in his assessment and didn't bill me at all for that project. The second time we worked with him, he created an outlet that hid the wiring for our flat screen TV. It did take several weeks to schedule the second project, although the first time we scheduled he was moved his schedule around based entirely on my needs.
