Thinned and shaped two huge trees--an olive and a carrot wood. Thinned and trimmed 3 bottle brush trees. Pruned and shaped 3 orange trees, a grapefruit tree, a tangerine tree, and an apricot tree, and another tree whose name I don't know. Removed 10 jasmin bushes which were not doing well where they were planted along a fence. Shaped an overgrown hybiscus and another huge bush. Probably more. Big yard. Lots of maintenance was attended to. The crew was totally professional. Worked very hard with no down time. All debris was removed front and back, spick and span, as well as the small amount of cutitngs which fell into a neighboring yard.
I will definitely hire Golden State again. No question of looking elsewhere. Add my A rating to the many others on Angie's List.

Alonzo came out on a Saturday to give us a price quote. We had one very large overgrown tree that needed a lot of trimming and thinning out as well as another 2 trees that needed trimming. There was a tree we needed removed also and we were quoted a fair price that day with a written estimate. I had 3 other companies that were not on angies list or yelp come out for price quotes and they did have better pricing so I almost chose against Golden State. I let Alonzo know and he was able to almost match the best price I received. They were $50 more but I wanted to go with them since I received an actual price quote, the other guys just told me it would be $800 and I could not find any references on them.
His crew showed up on Tuesday to do the job. They were fast and efficient. The large tree is very close to our house so I was concerned about possible damage but they got it done without a problem. 2 guys were up in the tree and another 4 were carry out the large limbs to their truck. Great working team, I will certainly have them back when we need more tree work.

They are the hardest working guys I've met in a while. They were quick to get the job done, stayed busy the whole time they were there and prices were great. It was the second time that I've used them.

They came when they said they would. Did the job to my specs in 45 minutes and cleaned up area afterward. I used them before in trimming 11 large/tall ficus trees with the same professional results and cheaper than most outfits. Alonzo, who I interfaced with was prompt in doing the estimates and accommodating to my schedule.

Its extremely hard to find service as good as Alonzo's. They are the hardest working team I've seen in a long time. They completely surpassed my expectations. A+ Do not hesitate to call him; you wont disappointed.
