I first used 480 Electric about a year and a half ago in a house that was leased at the time. The tenants called me late in the afternoon one Friday, probably around 4;00 to say the house was on fire. It turned out to be a small electrical fire in one of the bathrooms that was likely caused by old wiring or because plugs were pulled from the outlet by the cord vs. the plug, causing the wires in the wall to break and spark. By the time I got to the house, the fire department had put out the fire and were gone. but they had turned off all the power until a licensed electrician could look at it and say it was safe to restore the power. I contacted my insurance agent to report the damage and also asked if he could recommend an electrical. I am so fortunate that he referred me to Jerry Pratt, the owner of 480 Electirc. I contacted Jerry and he agreed to stop by the house on his way home from a conference he'd been attending in Orange County. Even though it was late and he was stuck in heavy traffic, he stopped as promised, checked the wiring and restored the power the same night - even though he had to work by flashlight most of the time. I later needed to replace a breaker because another electrician had installed one with the wrong wattage to support our AC unit. Because the AC company had charged us a service fee to tell us the breaker needed to be replaced, Jerry charged us only for a service call. Most recently I had to have a light switch replaced because the wrong kind had been installed initially. In all three instances, Jerry arrived on time each time, completed the work quickly and cleaned up the work area so there was no evidence he'd ever been there. He is the epitome of professionalism. I will NEVER use another electrician as long as Jerry is in business in this area/
Description of Work: I've used this company on at least three occasions, once when I had a small electrical fire and needed repair work done so the electricity could be turned back on, once to replace a breaker that was improperly installed and most recently to replace a switch that another electrician had installed that the wrong kind of switch to support the equipment it was used for.
