Young Kim Painting Co.

Young Kim Painting did an excellent job painting our stucco house in Brentwood. The painters were skilled, conscientious, neat, punctual, and easy to get along with. Mr. Young Kim himself is good-natured and thoughtful, he uses quality materials, and his prices are reasonable. We would use him again and recommend his company highly.

The job went very well. The painters came when expected, were pleasant, cleaned up each day and did an excellent job. We had a couple of places that needed fixing after they were finished and they came back promptly and fixed our concerns. The owner, Young Kim, was very nice to work with and was very conscientious. We appreciated his work ethic and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. His wife was very nice on the phone setting up dates and keeping us apprised of the progress.

My mother's house had been neglected for a long while, lots of peeling paint and rotted wood, overwhelmingly so, especially being lead paint, but Young Kim Painting did a great job while my elderly mom remained inside. Very professional, nice guys, and Mr. Kim is also very professional in his dealings. I had a firm estimate in writing with a detailed scope of work. The price was a bit daunting, but considering this was a lead abatement job with a lot of prep work, it's reasonable. They did a great job and my mom's house looks terrific.

We temporarily moved out of our home for 2-3 days while they did the work. We had an older home with lead paint. They finished the work when they said would.

This was a big job, exterior staining and painting of a 50 yr old redwood house, not the most common type of painting job in Los Angeles. Our house is on a hill with a lot of trees, not the easiest to access, and the wood is old and needed patching and repair. Young Kim arranged for the patching. They prepared carefully by cleaning and sanding. The quality of the work is excellent. The house looks fantastic. The entire job was done in six days. The company is very responsive and professional. Price is reasonable. Would I hire them again? Absolutely. In fact, they have done two other painting jobs for me, interior and exterior, over the past 20 years.

Mr. Kim and his employees did a great job -- very clean, very organized. I liked the attention to detail.

I heard about these guys from a friend and called them. My phone call was answered immediately (didn't have to leave a message) and we scheduled a time to get an estimate right then and there. Young Kim showed up a couple minutes early to the appointment. He came in and was very thourough in looking at what I wanted to have painted, noting some areas he would patch etc. He was very specific in finding out exactly what I wanted. After the initial bid my husband and I played around with adding in a few things and taking out some others things to be painted in order to get the most bang for my buck. Young Kim was always really quick to respond and very patient with my ever evolving list of things I wanted done. Painting day came and It was pouring rain out side. The crew was so careful not to track anything in my house and covered everything so they wouldn't get paint on our stuff. They worked hard and got everything done we asked for and more. I totally wasn't expecting them to sand and fill nail holes before painting. I was thrilled with the results and their attention to detail. The whole process was so EASY. We will for sure be using them again. I just wish I had found them sooner!

All went very smoothly and easily. Painters arrived early and were done before the end of the day.
