My Windstar van had a number of odd problems - check engine light, oil leak, electric rear window not responding, a few other electronic oddities...and I needed a smog check.
They changed the oil, could not track down most of the electrical problems but found the minor problem that was making it difficult to start and smog-checked the vehicle.
Overall, it seemed it took a long time for them to get to the vehicle (compared to what they and quot;predictedand quot; when I was scheduling the service), and several of the things on the list were not even looked at until I again asked about them...and then they were answered with a variation of and quot;Couldn't figure that out.and quot;
I had a smog certificate, though, and my van was starting when I turned the key and the light was off, so...
And while I was not entirely pleased or confident, I did have enough faith in them to return there by choice when I had problems not too long after that.

Unfortunately, Cadillac (GM) no longer supplies replacement fuel injection hose. RPM had to custom make a replacement hose that has worked perfectly since Nov 2012. Chuck, John and other auto techs at RPM are top notch and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this shop.

I told Chuck, the owner, that i just had the motor in my 1970 ford pickup truck rebuilt but it was running rough after i put in a new carburator. Chuck suggested we adjust the carburator and do a dynamometer test to see how the engine was performing. I dropped the truck off and told him i was in no hurry so he could work on it when he had the time, so later in the week he called and said it was ready. As soon as I got the call I stopped by to get the truck, I first talked to the mechanic who worked on it (John, one of the best mechanics i have ever dealt with) and he explained what he had done and the results of his tests. Then i talked to Chuck, he had the invoice ready, and i settled up with him. As i started the truck and drove down the road i thought to myself "I bet this truck never ran this good, even when it was new". Needless to say, I am extremely happy and I will got to RPM Automotive again and also reccommend them.

He is excellent. He's very honest, extremely knowledgeable about his trade, professional, and accommodating. I still call him today for advice even though I have moved across the country to New York. He is associated with AAA, so if you are a member you get a discount. He is fairly priced and overall a great value.

It was terrific. The mechanic is great. He is everything I want in an auto mechanic. He is always available. They give written estimates, and they do exactly what they say they will do. The price was what I expected to pay. They have a good operation.

I like to maintain my vehicle so it is reliable and I like to use repair facilities that are affiliated with the Auto Club of California because AAA demands a high level of competence from those who display their logo. I've used RPM in the past for simple maintenance however, recently I needed brakes. RPM discovered other issues during their check of my vehicle. I now know to plan for a repair of the power steering unit and to arrange for a complete hose replacement.
RPM is efficient, organized and called me before completing any additional work and the price is very competitive.
