Noteworthy Moving Systems

Disaster on every level: no staff coordination or oversight/ crew arguments with each other; poor packing; boxes mislabeled or unlabeled, property damage, lack of professionalism. Instead of packing a large number of items in separate boxes, they were dumped in three cardboard bins and left in garage - too heavy to budge and no space around them to walk around. Fragile items were stacked with very heavy items on top of them. Clothes were stuffed in wardrobes so they fell off hangars and got crumpled. Just a few examples of the long list of mistakes. When we complained, the manager went into " blame the customer" mode, with a harangue about how everybody loves them. Only when he was forced to come back and inspect did he admit they messed up. Finally when we insisted on talking to the general manager, many things got fixed - many weeks later. But now six months later, he has not gotten back to us on the damage of an expensive item.
