Furniture - Sales
The purchase went relatively smooth. Delivery was another story. The table and hutch arrived damaged. The workers and I both noticed this. They took back the pieces, and I received a phone call to schedule another delivery. The next delivery was prompt, and the hutch looked great, as did the table. I walked the workers back to the elevator and said goodbye. When I got back in the house, we tried to move the table, and it slumped down in the center and a large piece of splintery wood hung down about 8 inches. The track that guides the table apart when you add/remove the extra leaf was a mess. I called Levitz immediately for replacement, and I was reminded that I had signed for the table, and they would send a technician in 3 weeks to see if the table could be repaired. I continued to plead my case that this was unacceptable, but it fell on deaf ears. I called back again the next day and reminded them that the splintery wood was dangerous. They then offered up a quick replacement.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY SHOULD NOT SELL WHAT THEY CANNOT DELIVER! ANOTHER FURNITURE STORE HAS THE SAME COUCHES AND THEY ARE IN STOCK AND READY FOR DELIVERY!
