Service provider was able to guide me to make the right decisions about tint color - my car's rear windows are pre-colored from the factory and we're trying to tint them further for the baby that rides in the back. Alex brought up good points about the additive effects of the tinting on pre-treated windows and ability to see at night, etc. he helped me select the right shade (2 shades lighter than my original plan) and that turned out to be the best shade for me.

The technician arrived on time and had the job of replacing a windshield done in about 20 minutes. Good job, windshield still looks great.

From scheduling, all through the service they were amazing. The tech was very friendly and polite and even vacuumed all the glass that was scattered throughout my car's interior. The interfaced with my insurance company and were punctual and professional.

My husband called Five Star Glass early Monday morning and Carlos was there by 10 am and only took a couple of hours and it was done. Cost was $75 less than another glass company we hired a few years ago.

Easy to schedule! Would have offered same day appointment had I been home to have the work done. The technician arrived exactly on time and did the work well and quickly. Lifetime warranty and all for $200! If I'd know it would be so easy and (relatively) inexpensive I'd have done it much sooner.

I was impressed from the moment I called. The lady whom I spoke with on the phone was very helpful. She needed to make sure they were able to get the correct windshield to replace my cracked one and called me back promptly. I wasn't sure if I needed one that had the auto rain detector or not, so they were kind enough to bring both. It turns out I did NOT need one that had that so they did not try to up-sell me. The installer was prompt, efficient and my car and parking garage where it was installed were left spotless. They were lifesavers that day. Thank you!

While driving on the 101 freeway, something from a dumpster truck landed on my windshield and caused an 8-9 inch long crack on the edge. I called Five Star Auto Glass the following morning and spoke with Alex. He was professional, knowledgable and was willing to negotiate the price with me. He answered all my questions and promptly returned all my phone calls. My windshield was replaced that afternoon in less than the time (45 minutes) Alex had promised. I will definitely return to Five Star Auto Glass in the future.

I found them on Angie's List, stopped in while out doing errands, and they did the work at once, exactly as explained and taking exactly as much time as they quoted (20 minutes max). Very professional, very nice to deal with.

First the address is actually 810 E. BROADWAY, GLENDALE, CA 91206...someone must have hit the shift key my mistake when entering the address on Angie's List. Anyway, after solving that puzzle, I arrived at Five Star, unexpected in the early afternoon. They were able to repair a chip in my windshield and remove/replace some damaged tinting....and they actually charged me less then their original estimate which I had agreed to. They also double and tripled checked with me that I was happy with the work at each stage before going to the next stage. The whole process took around an hour which I was quite pleased with since, as I mentioned, I arrived unexpected without an appointment.

Someone smashed my car window during the middle of day in the rain in what I considered to be a very safe part of town. The thief stole my laptop and a backpack with a ton of personal belongings in it. It felt like one of the most ultimate forms of personal violation. Thankfully, I had just done a complete backup of my system. I was one of those people that didn't think it could happen to them, but I was wrong! I thought It was like a sucker punch in the gut, especially during the holiday season! However, Alex and the guys at Five Star Auto were incredible! They went above and beyond to make getting my window replaced a breeze. I made the call to them on a Friday evening and Alex said they'd have to special order the replacement window, but they'd have it there first thing the next day. I was told by several other window shops and the dealership that getting a replacement could take a couple of days since the car model was new. Alex offered to have his guys come to me to have the window replaced, but I was going to be in the shop's area, so it was no big deal for me to go there in person. The shop was slammed, it was raining out, and I had a ton of errands to catch up on... I was in and out in under an hour. They not only beat everyone in the area's price, but the service was spectacular! I highly recommend them, plus they stand behind their work! Thanks again for everything!
